different protagonist/Antagonist?

If you could choose some else to be the protagonist(naruto) of narutoverse who would it be? And if you choose a different antagonist(madara,obito) who would you choose?

Your signature looks so wrong to me. Since it is Naruto I read from right to left like a manga, so it looks like Naruto is shocked then Madara tells him he will rape him to which Naruto uses sexy jutsu to make it more fun for him..

OT: Shikamaru would make an interesting protagonist. I'd like Sasuke as a protagonist too. I have Orochimaru stay a antagonist for an extreme long time, he doesn't get enough credit cause he has so much more potential as a villain then he was given IMO.

Shikamaru would have been the most interesting, beside Itachi IMO

Well that's the struggle isn't it? Naruto couldn't beat beat Orochimaru at first. He still can't but he can put up a better fight now haha

I could see a pretty good series coming out of this one.. I was going to choose Danzo as well. I think Gaara could also be pretty interesting protagonist.

Rock Lee. He is a better analogy for determination and hard-work and fighting the genius. Neji would obviously be the rival and Tenten could be the romantic interest but probably not. The whole team specializes in Taijutsu and I like watching fights in Taijutsu than Ninjutsu and Big Explosions but that's just me. The Anatagonist? I wanted the Part 1 Villains [Sound 4, Kimimaro, Gaara, Orochimaru] to stay because I loved them! Good times. That's my view

Lol Obito beats any NV character.
He is intangible he can slip his fist through enemy heart or head and then materialize it
If arm gets damaged he can replace it
