Can people eat more than one devil fruit

And are their any extra negative effects like losing the ability to swim

cant say but ,up until this point its said its impossible ,but there is exception of BB (i think its because fo yami yami no mi because its powers is said to negate the power of other devil fruit) ,nd ya after eatin any DF the user is unable to swim
