Actually i think you got it a little confused, he got rinnegan while still alive, but wood release was all Kabuto's doing, he gave him the extra senju DNA from Yamato to increase his powers enough to use wood release, hence the ugly face on his chest. xd

But we should really wait for it to be shown if that is in fact due to the yang half of the kyuubi or another reason altogether, his own seal may be able to siphon off kyuubi chakra from Naruto or some other deus ex machina. xd

Itll prolly be able to get, but itll be hella hard. You'd prolly have to take 2-3 battle tests. Be sealed in RDS with Kyuubi. tooken out, then take another bio test :| Sounds pretty hard to me

He likely had the face on his chest before death as he didn't know he was an Edo, so how would he know about Kabuto adding him to his chest? Its because he had both Uchiha and Senju DNA that lead him to get the Rinnegan, remember?

Yeah i saw that on the Wiki it's wrong though tbh, he could use minor wood release probably same as the Zetsu's, but Madara commented when he looked at his chest and saw the face, that he was suprised at how much Kabuto seemed to know, it's likely the small amount of DNA he had wasn't allowing him to use the big abilities only the minor ones in regards to wood release, but with the addition of more DNA via the chest face he gained more power.
I remember Kabuto actually asked him through Mu if he approved of his gift, or something like that, implying he placed the face on the new body. xd

Either way i don't mind, i was still stunned when Minato used KM, idc if i get to or not. xd

I actually think you have it wrong. He likely had more Senju DNA in him than Yamato, who had DNA from the Oro experiments. He obtained his DNA directly, whereas yamato had senju DNA divided between him and other experiments. If anything, the DNA obtained from Hashirama was more powerful than that from Yamato as he couldn't even use the more powerful jutsu hashirama showed off. With that line of thought, it would explain how Danzo was able to use wood release as proficiently as he did, having Hashirama direct DNA and not that of a clone, who's power would be somewhat diluted (imo). Obito on the other hand had DNA from the zetsu clones, hashirama clones all the same but not his direct DNA like Madara had. This is of course just my guesswork ofc, we won't know unless kishi shows it xd

But as i said Madara wood release.
Also what's to stop me just using my bio to seal the kyuubi...He has shown capable of sealing a tailed beast, maybe i'll just go hunting for one?
