They seem to only be good at pushing around genins. but then whenever a strong threat actually comes to challenge the village they get owned severely and treated like the fodder that they are. I am glad Kakashi and Itachi left those tools. I'm surprised Yota didn't kill them all with his water and lightning attacks.

The ANBU are like school security guards. They think they are tough when they are pushing around 4 foot tall little girls for forgetting their ID cards, but as soon as some crazy guy comes in with a weapon they are the first to run out of the school. I am glad Pain and Orochimaru kicked their asses.

Well they were run by Danzo, a man who was always the 'shadow' of his fellow Ninja, Hiruzen, this was his way Hiruzen. And now that I think about it, if u add suits to the Anbu members, they would be like the Mafia, cos Anbu are killers for hire (at least better then the Ninja in the world)

i think personally anbu would be nothing if it were not that many NV stars came from Kakashi/Itachi/Yamato/Sai
all of these guys have had OP title in there name or at least 1 ep ^_^

all that being said though anbu are op..... all situational and tbh they are rele only traditional ninjas in series
so theyre pretty awesome

ANBU ninjas are sent out on some of the most difficult missions. At times they may even be sent out to do S-rank missions solo. I don't think they are complete tools.
