As much as I hate to admit it, there's a big chance naruto might end up with Sakura. Minato said it himself Sakura reminds him of Kushina and what did Kushina want for Naruto? For him to end up with someone who resembles her, and it's Kishi writing all of this and he's writing all of this crap for a reason so..

2) Ounce again, NaruSaku is made to be a joke. Have you noticed this? All NS moments always end up either revolving around Sasuke or Sakura yelling/hitting Naruto. Now compare that to NH & SS, who’s moments are mostly always serious and touching.

If we look at the war, both NH & SS have different stands thanks to the characters in the pairings changing.

Hinata is more confident.

Sasuke isn’t evil anymore.

Naruto has acknowledged Hinata.

This didn’t, at all, change Naruto’s and Sakura’s relation.

7) If the argument is being used as NS=MK. Well, now is when I lol my a$$ off. Why?

Simply put, Jiriaya, Kushina & Tsunade compared Naruto to his mom, and Minato compared Sakura to Kushina too. So NS doesn’t = MK, it = KK (KushinaXKushina). NaruHina, on the other hand, has a ”Minato”, that being Hinata.

8)Sakura’s reaction to Sasuke is more than enough to show she still loves him. That one face > Minato’s joke.

9) Girlfriend & Girl Friend, it’s actually the same in japanese. That’s why Naruto was confused. And what did he say afterwards “more or less/ if you’re splitting hairs” this means he was saying she was his female friend, or that they were close and loved each other in a platonic way

The point of that, to me, seems like Kishi is poking fun at the Main X Main ideology. Think about it. If a STRANGER was introduced to a fictional series, they’ll almost always assume the main guy & girl are an item.

Still even IF Sakura doesn’t love Sasuke, she doesn’t love Naruto romantically at all. That’s kinda why she HIT Naruto when she was called his girlfriend.

One final thing: Minato, Konohamaru, Gamikichi, Yamato & Sai all commented on the NS relation when they first met Naruto &/or Sakura, and hardly knew shit about them.

so 5 strangers being “pro” NaruSaku.

And then, for Naruhina, there’s Kiba & Neji. Kiba & Neji were there during the POAL, The Failfession (Kiba only), & then the whole “in your eyes” thing.

So these two have witnessed some pretty important moments involving pairings. adding to that, they also know Naruto & Hinata on a personal level, these two who have supported NH ACTUALLY KNOW Naruto & Hinata.

I think he doesn't want us to get the general idea who he will be with until the very end. Naruto allowed the Kyuubi take control after having a friend who risked their life "killed" in front of him. It would have been the case with anyone else. If Kakashi or Jiraiya were killed in front of Naruto, he would have transformed.

It was sort of building up. Naruto had a deep hatred for Pein. Pein did in fact kill Jiraiya, and then went on to attack his village, and Kakashi was killed in the attack. I firmly believe that he had a lot of hatred and anger building up for the guy.

And to me, Jiraiya and Naruto are a lot closer than Naruto and Hinata (Atleast at that point). Jiraiya was basically Naruto's father, meanwhile Hinata was a fellow comrade and friend. Yet Naruto didn't transform when he heard Jiraiya died, but did when Hinata was "killed"?

It's because, while he is mature enough to handle death without going berserk, he can't witness the actual death of a friend (At that point) without giving into his hatred and losing it. It's stupid to assume that everyone elses death and the destruction of Konoha didn't phase Naruto, but the death of the girl he knew and scarcely talked to did.

Even if she did just say she loved him.

As for the flashback, as you call it. It could be true. But it's obvious that Naruto most likely did not become an item with Hinata at this point. He probably thanked her and told her he was unsure of his emotions towards her.

Or he wouldn't say "Yeah, Sakura's sort of my girlfriend" instead of saying, "Nah, she's just a good friend. The Hyuuga in the back is my girl."

You're wrong. Whenever Minato saved Naruto was releasing the 9-tails he told Naruto that he saw Pain attack the villiage from inside of him and he knew Jiraiya had died. Meaning, he knew who Sakura and Hinata was and what they've "done for him".

Like I said earlier Minato knows both Sakura and Kushina. Minato was talking about personality since it showed a hot tempered Kushina in the background as an example of their similarities.

I'm not saying Hinata meant more. But Hinata was the only reason he went nine tails. U less you can provide evidence saying otherwise, unlike what I have done, then I'm right.

Yeah, he most likely would have gone crazy seeing any of his friends die, but would he really reach 8-tails? I don't see it happening.

It's just an assumption, but by the look in Naruto's eyes when Hinata confesses and says she loves him well, I honestly think that impacted him a ton.just stop to think about it. Naruto's been alone his whole damn life. Up until he was 13 (where Iuruka came into his life) all he ever heard from people was one insult after another. Idiot, failure,dumbass, demon, monster, trash, dirt, it just kept going.

No love, only hate. Even with Iuruka & Team 7 there, would that really help fill the hole his parents left? No, it simply doesn't work like that. Kushina & Minato would have told him "I love you, Naruto" hundreds of times. Most people, because they have both/one parent who always tells them that they love them, they will just shrug it off and say "I love you too" with out really giving it much thought.

Naruto's never had that. Ever. and since he was confused at that moment and didn't know what to think, first seeing Hinata confess then die, I think it just left a mixture of shock & despair in him, and he didn't know what to do, thus he gave into the kyuubi.
