A legendary and a mounta true boss... wonder what's his drop?![]()
Personally, I think Acnologia dominates them in strength despite their hierarchy. Still, I maintain one of my theories that Igneel, Grandeeney and Metallicana disappeared into hiding out of fear of Acnologia. Probably even that all the surviving dragons don't want to face Acnologia and that's the reason they trained humans into dragon slayers, so that one of them becomes stronger enough to battle Acnologia. Cause, Acnologia was a dragon slayer turned into dragon. What interested me was Igneel is the Flame dragon king, this could mean there are other king elemental dragons and Acnologia rules over them, overall great chapter.
Even though I never considered Natsu & co being real dragon children, that doesn't take away there is something very odd with their bodies and especially with Natsu's. They couldn't pass Fried's runes that would not allow someone of stone or over 80 years old to pass. On top of that Zeref knew Natsu even though Natsu had no clue who Zeref was + I've said several times before that the mage that's depicted on that tapestry in the palace that shows the Dragon King's Festival, looks a lot like Natsu (his scarf + it seems he uses fire magic). Not to mention originally I saw that stuff about being motion sick as nothing more than a comical relief, however considering all the dragon slayers have it, it's possible there is a meaning behind it.I thought it was kind of obvious that natsu would try to eat the flames as soon as I saw a dragon made of flames. But that Ignel connection blew me away. I guess we now know how old the present dragons are and that they may come out of hiding once they figure out what is going on. Still a mystery what happened on 7-7-777.
This whole dad thing is still kind of wierd, it can't be literal. We know who the parents of Grey/Lucy/Erza were, but Natsu has to have some kind of biological parents. Where the F are they?
Plus Gajeel and Wendy don't really call Met/Gran their dad/mom.
I think the bond between dragonslayers and their dragons is that of a parent/child. Adopted kids aren't biologically connected with those that adopted them, but they still are their parents! Family is more of a matter of bonds instead of blood. This whole dad thing is still kind of wierd, it can't be literal. Correct me if I am wrong, but wasn't there supposed to be some silly trick that was like a hidden rule in the runes to specifically bind dragonslayers into the guild? I figured that was the case with Levy rewriting the runes at chapter 116-117. If there was anything that implied both of them being older than 80 years old, wouldn't Levy question it later on or at least mention it? I mean, she trusts her guildmates, it wouldn't be too bad if she asked or anything!Even though I never considered Natsu & co being real dragon children, that doesn't take away there is something very odd with their bodies and especially with Natsu's. No there wasn't. Laxus was even surprised as why Natsu couldn't leave and there wouldn't have been a reason in the first place to lock specifically the dragon slayers as it's not like they considered them a threat. So the only explanation is that the runes considered the dragon slayers as or being of stone or over 80 years old. Whatever it was, Levy rewrote the runes so that they could leave, however that had really nothing to do with specifically changing something about their dragon slaying magic in the runes.I think the bond between dragonslayers and their dragons is that of a parent/child. IIRC Gajeel never had motion sickness problems until the GMG. And Wendy has never had any problems. She fixes Natsu ffs.Even though I never considered Natsu & co being real dragon children, that doesn't take away there is something very odd with their bodies and especially with Natsu's. so yeah they're whack.
Gajeel has it now, Sting even specifically stated that he's now a 'real dragon slayer'. So from that you can deduce that it's possible they get motion sickness during the course of their life. Considering Gajeel didn't had it before, but now does, it's very easily to come to the conclusion that Wendy does not have it yet, but might gain it when she grows up. Also even if that isn't the case Wendy is a healing-type dragon slayer, so she might be an exception.IIRC Gajeel never had motion sickness problems until the GMG. And Wendy has never had any problems. She fixes Natsu ffs.
I think they are all orphans , and from 400 years ago and time travelled to get to the current time. Acnologia being the Dragon King wanted to kill off humans as he saw them as insignificant , and the Dragons teaching dragonslayer magic would have to flee to escape Acnologia...Lol Cali!
Well, Fire Dragon King doesn't mean, for me, that there are elemental dragon kings. It simply means Igneel was at one time a dragon king. The Flame one is possibly just an honorific gained because of his flame powers.
From what I understood, the dragons that took on children were an exception because they raised kids as their own parents when apparently they were none. I assume that either all of them are orphans. Look at this this way, none of them have relatives that we know of. Basically, instead of teaching warriors their magic or dragon slaying magic to be precise, they decided to raise kids, probably using their inocence and pure hearted demeanors to ensure they would grow up to be of significance in the world, instead of only villains and fiends.
The other option is that Natsu and the others are dragons turned to people. That or literally be the offspring of their parent dragons, turned into people to protect them or make them experience the world as humans as a way to ensure that once they returned or grew up to return to dragons once more, they would steer their kind into a future where they live together with humans.
I don't think that is the answer. Simple reasoning is that Laxus for example is a dragon slayer because he had dragon lacryma infused in him, not because he was taught by dragons. He is also makarov's grandson so I assume that such a time travelling thing wouldn't actually go unnoticed.I think they are all orphans , and from 400 years ago and time travelled to get to the current time. Acnologia being the Dragon King wanted to kill off humans as he saw them as insignificant , and the Dragons teaching dragonslayer magic would have to flee to escape Acnologia...
Zeref in my opinion is Natsu's father , he hates himself because he cannot control his abilities which potentially puts his sons life at risk and therefore left his son with Igneel in order for him to become strong enough to put an end to his evil yet uncontrollable ways.
The tapestry with all the dragons fighting one man shows somebody with Fire magic , and if the tapestry is from the future it demonstrates how powerful said wizard will become if he is taking on Acnologia... And as the main protagonist Natsu is the most likely to do that (even though i would prefer it to be all the dragon slayers vs Acnologia)... And if Natsu was to become that powerful i am sure he could fight Zeref...
Zeref said this to Natsu:
which is a very father like thing to say if you haven't seen your son for 380+ years...You must be registered for see images
And feared Acnologia (even though i think he is stronger) because Acnologia is hunting the only threats to him : The Dragonslayers:

Dragonslayer magic supposedly had never been seen for hundreds of years ; but now miraculously there are 7 of them whom suddenly popped out of nowhere with this ancient magic which was supposedly eradicated from history , why? BECAUSE THEY TIME TRAVELLED!!!
