Maybe it's because I'm in the mood for change, but I would like Sasuke to become Holage to flip shit in Narutoverse, but then again, I love Naruto so I'd be happy with either of them!

Honestly up until this chapter and this entire series I was on the Naruto bandwagon. At first when Sasuke said "I will become Hokage" I definitely face palmed my forehead and laughed. But I did some reflecting and I can now see how Sasuke would become Hokage too. All the messages that Itachi was trying to teach Sasuke are now entrusted to Naruto and I think he will finally get him to understand what he meant. In some way or form whether there is a "final battle" or not between those two the message will be cleared up. Whether or not Sasuke becomes Hokage because of it is another story, but if he were to be I would understand. With Naruto's ability to "change people" stated a while back by Kakashi I then think he would become something bigger than just a hokage. This theory is just based on how kishi has always had us on our toes about what he decides to do with the story haha. So today I voted Sasuke =D

But I can see it being Sasuke because of the whole madara hashirama incident. I feel like if he doesn't get what he wants, he'll go back to the moody brat he is and take the route of madara.

why Sasuke will probably become Hokage
1. Naruto has always said he would support and help Sasuke
2. it was Itachi's wish that Sasuke protect the Leaf so becoming Hokage makes sense
3. Itachi left to Naruto the task of changing Sasuke.
4. it would be the ultimate redemption of both Sasuke and the Uchiha clan as a whole.
5. it would clear the way for Naruto to move on as possibly a travelling Sage like his master and the Sage of six paths.
6. Naruto could end with all the Bijju inside of him and that would not be something the other villages could accept if he was Hokage.
7. it would be the kind of plot twist that Kishi would do.
8. it would be the ultimate test for both Naruto and Sasuke, Naruto giving up his dream for his friend, and taking back his words, while Sasuke overcoming his ideology that he doesnt need anyone else, and that he is stronger alone.

i would prefer to see Naruto becoming Hokage but i have said from the begining of shippuden that i could see Kishi making Sasuke Hokage so i am gonna vote that Sasuke becomes Hokage.

It's not gonna be sasuke. The latest chapter pretty much declared that. Narutos flashback about Itachi's words....pretty much stated it's going to be Naruto(being acknowledged by everyone makes you hokage) and that since Sasuke doesn't care about what the leaf village thinks about him, it won't be him

If they fight for it there will have to be a long time skip first, I doubt either of them get it in the current time period. Unless they do something dumb like say, when Tsunade dies or when she wants to quit you will get it. Cause neither of them will get it at their current age.

I would be happy if either of them became Hokage, but at this point, I'm starting to think that Naruto is Hokage already. A leader of a village in one thing, but a leader of the world is another. Naruto has proved himself to be charming and inspire people. I also think that he would be bored as Hokage. (He would be terrible at the paperwork and he's too free-spirited like his sensei.) He would probably find traveling and helping people by erasing the hatred from the shinobi world than sitting at a desk all day. Sasuke will have some time on his hands if Tsunade dies. (The Godaime Kazekage wasn't elected until two years after the Yondaime Kazekage's death.) In time, Sasuke could be a respected shinobi as well as a hero from the war. It would also be nice to have an Uchiha as Hokage to break the curse of hatred. I see the series ending on a happy note if that happens.
