Even if Naruto was playing w/ Minato about- Naruto for sure didn't call or point to Minato about Hinata. He had time to mess around and joke and not bring up his so called 'Love interest" when the convo called for the short Girlfriend talk w/ his Father?

Either way- it still looks bad.

I still think NaruHina are gunning for Canon tho- but Kishi is playing fandoms till' da very end.

Take a good look at the moment.

Minato is happy to see his son, and he asks Naruto if Sakura is his girlfriend, he says uuuuuuuuuuum um well….you could say that, and she hits him. He then goes on to compare Sakura to Kushina.

1) Minato, just like Sai, Yamato, Konohamaru & Gamikichi, doesn’t know anything about Sakura, her love for Sasuke, or Naruto’s recent actions with Hinata. Nor does he know of what Hinata did for Naruto. I’m sure any father would prefer a protective wife than an abusivw wife.

2) Ounce again, NaruSaku is made to be a joke. Have you noticed this? All NS moments always end up either revolving around Sasuke or Sakura yelling/hitting Naruto. Now compare that to NH & SS, who’s moments are mostly always serious and touching.

3)What exactly changed here? Nothing at all.

If we look at the war, both NH & SS have different stands thanks to the characters in the pairings changing.

Hinata is more confident.

Sasuke isn’t evil anymore.

Naruto has acknowledged Hinata.

This didn’t, at all, change Naruto’s and Sakura’s relation.

4) Sakura still loves Sasuke.

5) Hinata was put there RIGHT AFTER that scene, in her own panel, just like in the infamus NaruSaku hug of 450. No jealousy or sadness. She doesn’t think “Whatever’s best for you, I’ll be ahppy, Naruto” or something like that. Why? Because that wasn’t romance.

6) Minato comparing Sakura to Kushina doesn’t mean anything. Firstly, if NS is using to support the “Find some one like your mother” argument, keep in mind whilst Sakura physically resembles Kushin,. Hinata has things in common with Kushina too, physically & other sort of things. Such as long hair, non-flat chest, born to a great clan, kidnapped by Kumo for their powers, willing to die for Naruto etc

7) If the argument is being used as NS=MK. Well, now is when I lol my a$$ off. Why?

Simply put, Jiriaya, Kushina & Tsunade compared Naruto to his mom, and Minato compared Sakura to Kushina too. So NS doesn’t = MK, it = KK (KushinaXKushina). NaruHina, on the other hand, has a ”Minato”, that being Hinata.

8)Sakura’s reaction to Sasuke is more than enough to show she still loves him. That one face > Minato’s joke.

9) Girlfriend & Girl Friend, it’s actually the same in japanese. That’s why Naruto was confused.

Funny how naruhina fans are so sure than its going to happen. When Hinata confessed her love to Naruto did Naruto talked to her after he defeated pain? NO he completely ignored her. And now they all think naruhina its going to happen because the hold hands I guarantee you guys after the war is over Naruto is not going to talk to Hinata he just going to ignore her AGAIN he just doesn't love her.

You don't have to be in to someone in the beginning example true story: When i was in 5th grade their was a nerd girl in my class i barely knew. She was quiet, shy, and i think had no friends. Sakura isn't abusive, i mean if it were real life and a girl punched a guy in the face all the time then yea...its abusive. but this is manga where people can jump off a cliff and land on their feet like nothing happened. Sakura punching Naruto is no different then Tsunade punching Jiraiya, not abusive just all in good fun.

Naruto didn't exactly say that Sakura is his girlfriend but he pretty much implied it.

Sakura still loves Sasuke but i think in the end she will realize she can't be with someone who has tried to kill her. She will realize Naruto has always been there for her. So in the end...NaruSaku.

I'm a sasusaku/naruhina but seriously, you can't blame them. Do you know what they have been through after 615 all the attacks and bashing..etc
And it's still happening.. Why don't people ship whatever they want and DEBATE WITHOUT BASHING THE OTHER SHIPS?

Anyway, Hinata deserves him more IMO, it would break my heart if it didn't happen but since sasusaku is striking with full powers I think it has higher hopes

The new chapter book has Naruto, and Hinata holding hands. Before you deny this means anything, go back and read the ultimate NaruHina chapter 615. The WHOLE thing was naruhina based. Naruto 631 omg it was a joke, naruto even delayed when answering his dad. 615 was named connected, neji died and just literally LEFT Hinata to Naruto.
Also saying your life is not your own, HINATA is willing to die for you=Naruto/Hinata life=Connected(Chapters name)

I am staying away from past events, if i did this would be longer and naruhina would be a 1000% win.
Compare 615-616 to 631

I'm unashamedly a NaruSaku fan, and even I have the wherewithal to say, neither pairing is confirmed or denied yet. Though I don't think it's looking great for NaruHina (due to Naruto's sheer idiocy with his statement to Minato), it ain't over til the fat lady sings. We'll just wait and see.

granted, i cant help but add that i DO NOT see how the minato/narusaku interaction could be interpreted differently. I would love to know where on this page naruto looks confused? he stammers his answer but he answers a basic yes with a few minor details left out (like not having asked her permission maybe yet? why does everyone jump to sasuke when its been well over 150+ chps she even thought about him?) sakura doesnt deny this statement in ANY WAY SHAPE OR FORM. if sakura had not developed feelings for naruto already, she would have simply replied no or no way or something like when she was younger rather than the response we have. Hinata is shown right afterwards with .....! if there wasnt something she was concerned with (i promise you its not the jyubi, sasuke, minato, war, nejis death, kiba or shinos safety that shes worried about) she wouldnt have the "...." damn it expression. Sakura expressed the same type of expression via pein arc when she heard hinata's confession...that same pained "i lost" expression.
