I never really much payed attention to hinata until part 2. I was like naruto and didnt even notice her that much, not even during the chunin exams, nor did i know she had a crush on him 
. In part 1, i pushed hinata aside same way i did with sakura because i found them irrelevant to the story. When she fought neji, she kind of got my attention and i liked how she stood her ground and even though she got beat up, she still was head strong. I also liked how she got her courage from naruto 
. Hinata character to me is overrall better than sakura's. I like to see her change as she gets older and thats something i really enjoy about hinata. Her shyness is bothersome when i want a naruhina moment but other times i dont even care. Hinata's personality is lovely and i just really like it because she is just so sweet and innocent, dont know why people call her a b*tch because she hasnt done anything b*tchy .
Now my views on sakura.
I dont like her, now to be even more honest. I tried to force myself to like her because i knew she was going to be there for loooong time so might as well enjoy her. I just dont/cant like her. Sakura annoyed the hell out of me in part 1
"Sasuke-kun! Sasuke-kun! Shut up naruto! Oh sasuke-kun is so cool!" Wow, i know hinata was all "Naruto-kun" but atleast she had the decency to not put others down because she liked someone else.Now in part 1, i had notice she hadnt been doing like mostly anything but i didnt complain, just ignored her. Not much to say to part 1 sakura...i didnt pay that much attention to her. Part 2 sakura, i really started to dislike her character. She was cool during the save gaara arc but then everything went downhill, its like after atleast another couple hundred of chapters later (Chpt 631) she gets to fight in another serious fight -___-. Really? And its funny because when sasuke-kun shows up homegirl want to fight and be on the front lines.I am not mad at her lol but do this type of stuff earlier so you wont have people seriously disliking you. Sakura is a crusty character to me and i think she is only there to support naruto and sasuke thats it. Kind of shady for a heroine. I feel like if sakura was a side character, i wouldnt have disliked her. Sakura's development is fit for a side character not a heroine.
