[Theory] Minato is to naruto what Itachi is to sasuke

We all know that sasuke growing up itachi was his everything, his older brother the one he always wanted to not be like but surpass him.

We know that in naruto there are always parallels and i believe that the parallel to this is naruto and minato.
Naruto without knowing him always wanted to be better than the fourth hokage(his dad).
jairaya and kakashi on diffrent occasions both talked about naruto's ability to surpass the fourth.

I believe that Minato is supposed to be equal to Itachi
Just as how Naruto is suppposed to be equal to sasuke

Only reason itachi was not hokage candidate was the fact that he was younger than the fourth who was also believed to have been to young for the job, They were both considered as geniuses beyond there time although we know more about itachi's feats at younger ages

Naruto and sasuke will surpass both respectively

could be the reason that itachi died and after that naruto meets his father right after in the pain vs naruto fight
