Why I'm dropping the manga

This is more than just Kishi forgetting to draw Kakashi's scar, Itachi's face line or Hidan wearing the Konoha headband. The writing doesn't even make sense at this point. Sasuke's character has been so inconsistent in Part 2 that he has no core motivations. He doesn't even care about revenge anymore, total BS writing.

Orochimaru helping the good guys? What the hell, doesn't even start to make sense. Madara suddenly doesn't care about the Ten Tails and only cares about Hashirama and settling a score? Bad writing

The quality of the art and the writing has turned into little more than a series of dun-dun-dun shameless drama mongering. This series is 100% dead to me.

I do agree though. He is rushing the manga, if he needs the 2 week break he can have it. I'd rather get a near perfect chapter than a rushed sloppy one.

Well, it does seem like Kishi set things up to play out a certain way and then drops it entirely. I think he likes doing that though, showing that there is more to a character than just a brief period of nothing but insanity. At least Sasuke shows that he is capable of thinking.

Not to be rude, but I don't think anyone cares if you drop it. It's so close to finishing now that what is even the point?
Regardless of what people say about this chapter and the small things I didn't like, the Team 7 reunion was the core of the chapter. That happened, so I'm happy.

This. Obito's going to get TnJ by Kakashi and abandon his evil ways just because of a cheesy quote. Madara will get beat on some technicality of Hashirama jutsu. Sasuke will get defeated by the "Power of Love and Friendship" and agree to not become Hokage. PnJ will stop any important character deaths, and the series will continue being trite garbage.

What I think is that both Sasuke and Ochy still have some sort of plan, I don't see how blantly declaring he wants revenge in front of 4 kages is rather smart. You have Hashy who has been noted to overpower the hold and then someone who is tactical and fast like Minato......

i'm interested to see where is Ochy atm...

Manga is still one of the best ongoing books I've ever read and i have had my share of legal and fictional literature. When someone mentions manga is bad....I have to assume you aren't pleased with something not going their way.

Orochimaru is probably either dead or took Sasuke's body. My guess is Sasuke put him under genjutsu and Kishi will kill Oro off in a flashback like the lamer that he is.
