Even though you may believe he was an enemy of the village, he killed some of the most dangerous enemies of Konoha as well as the Shinobi world , for instance:

1) Orochimaru
2) Danzo
3) Some of the Akatsuki memebers such as Deidara
4) Helped Itachi to beat Kabuto and stop the edo-tensei
5) Also brought back the Hokages to take the 10 tails and madara

Judging by those stats...his protected konoha as well as the entire shinobi world more than Naruto...or atleast the same amount of times.

the same amount? naruto stopped konoha from being destroyed twice- from gaara and from pain. he took down kakuzu and pain, defeated I don't know how many edo tensei, solved the zetsu problem by himself, and the only reason the alliance is still standing is because of him. plus he has the respect of the villagers, unlike sasuke. sasuke's deeds weren't for the village but for himself.

Madara and 10 tails would eventually destroyed naruto and the shinobi alliance. Heck, madara took out all 5 kages without even trying...Thus, there would be no Naruto and the Shinobi world if Sasuke didn't stop the edo-tensei and bring back the Hokages.

well technically sasuke did nothing in the fight vs kabuto except cut some snake heads and meaninglessly spam amaterasu

Whatever Sasuke did was just becuase of his vengeanve feelings. Still he is not thinking about the well wishing of village/villagers or shinobi world. He just want to become hokage so that he could change the past things done by previous hokages thus protecting the village.
While Naruto is always thinking about well wishing of village/villagers and entire shinobi world. Naruto considers everyone as his comrade. But Sasuke can change his mind anytime whenver things doesn't go according to him. Sasuke is not stable in decisions which makes Sasuke unsuitable for Hokage titile. But lets see how it goes ahead.

Another thing, onoki said that whoever stopped the edo tensei is a hero to the world who saved the alliance and the world itself...so...:yayy:

Naruto has gone thru great lengths to prove his worth to everyone he encounters..Smarts aren't everything sometimes actions speak louder.. He would go to the ends of the earth to protect his village look to what extremes he went to rescue and find Sasuke.To find Tsuande he fought Kabuto to protect the future Hokage and to heal Lee and Sasuke.He went crazier to save Gaara even after he was dead .Even when he was told that Sasuke was a lost cause that he was a missing nin he didn't care.. he trained harder after their first encounter with Sasuke after 3 years..I would want someone that goes to those lengths ion my side and as a leader to protect my village

Look at it this way. If Sasuke never existed, Itachi wouldn't have spared anyone. When he beats Oro, the snake wouldn't have had any Uchihas to turn to. Meaning Oro might have never attacked Konoha at all. Itachi would still be in Akatsuki forcing Tobi not to act and might have perhaps nailed him one day with Kotoamatsukami to make him kill himself.


So Sasuke is not needed in this world.

Wooow dude, Danzo was one of the most loyal ninjas of Konoha, Sasuke doesn't deserve to be hokage, hell he doesn't even deserve to be accepted back in Konoha.
