Chapter 631: Best chapter that made me laugh so hard and excite me at the same time.
*What's going on with Kishi? Do you guys think he's running out of ideas, lost a bet, or really bored to post such a chapter? I got Kishi'd in so many different ways.
- NaruSaku
I honestly loved this. I'm a big NaruSaku fan so I got a pretty good laugh out of this. It's funny how everyone compares Sakura and Kushina and then some haters deny it, then BOOM! Kishi slapped them in the face. So yeah, I like the NaruSaku in this chapter. Sakura didn't completely deny anything when Naruto basically told his own father Sakura is his girlfriend or close friend that's a girl, she just told him to shut up and save his energy. What about Hinata? Wasn't this just NaruHina a few chapters ago? Did Kishi flush down all the theories about NaruHina becoming official with this little moment?
- Minato!?
Love that man! Such a great father but what? His power up ruins the significance of Naruto's power. I thought it was only Naruto who could go, as I like to call it, "super saiyan"? That really disappointed me as much as I love Minato's character.
- Madara's rejection
LOL! On Chapter 628, the fans went wild after seeing Madara's rape face for Hashirama and BOOM! We see it again on Chapter 631. I'm sure that everyone's reaction was like, "OHHHH!! SH*T ABOUT TO GO DOWN!" but no. Hashirama totally blew off Madara's epic rape face appearance and put him on hold. Madara's face = Priceless. Was Kishimoto bored? That was the best thing I've ever seen! BUT MAN, that made the story's epic villain look like a poon. Yes, I said it. A poon. .__. Sure it was funny but Hashirama totally owned Madara by a simple, "Uhh... I'll take care of you later." I was once afraid and excited for Madara's next actions but now I've given up. DON'T DISAPPOINT ME OBITO!
- Sasuke's new, new, *sigh* new Goal.
What's the deal? Sasuke is always changing his goals! His inconstancy is pissing me off and making me dislike his character. This time, he decides to become unoriginal and steal everyone's (Naruto, Kohnohamaru, Dan, Nawaki, Kushina, Minato, any other character who mentioned wanting to be Hokage) first goal. Naruto was like, "Uh, no. Stand aside." I hope Kishi has something good to back all this up. I'm assuming Sasuke's new goal is what will lead Naruto and Sasuke to fight in the end? I'm not sure. I face-palmed so hard and literally fell off my chair when I read that part. My exact reaction was the same as all K11 in the manga. I think it's really silly for Sasuke to say... I always thought his character was the type that would be "too bad ass to even be Hokage".
- Sakura's mysterious power
I'm so excited because as you all can probably tell, I'm a Sakura fan. I can't wait to find out what Kishi planned for her. Her part in the chapter excited me along with everything else happening but I'm worried about how Kishi is going to play this one off. I mean... Sakura finally gets the spotlight but will the evidence be significant enough to back up what's coming next for her? I hope so because as much as I love her, I hate BS plots... but who knows? Kishi has gotten away with Plot No Jutsu before. >__> It must be something powerful or good since, according to Tsunade, a Medical Nin. can not be in combat. By the look Naruto and Sakura exchanged, it's obvious Naruto can sense Sakura's energy or sense what she's up to, otherwise he wouldn't have agreed to let her join. If by just looking at the big picture, it could be because she's a part of Team 7. Is Kishi really going to give Sakura the spotlight she deserves or is Kishi just trolling?
I'd like to know what you guys think for each section I talked about. Do you agree with some of the things I said or have any thoughts/ideas you would like to share?
