People talk so badly about Karin and Sakura cause they love Sasuke even though he tried to kill them, yet Naruto does the same thing and no one seems to care......that a double standard.

Kishi clearly wanted to show that Sasuke was stronger in the beginning since it makes the story far more interesting also him losing to Sasuke continued to the plot so he could get stronger to bring Sasuke back.

Only Sasuke fanboys don't see this both Naruto and Sasuke have the biggest plot shield.
