Did Minato really have to be so strong?

The character really didnt have to be some walking legend, it keeps getting worse and worse. Minato could've literally just been some guy. He could've been some pretty reasonable low-mid level Hokage who had his time and sacrificed himself. Why does Narutos dad have to be some prodigy genius who keeps getting stronger and stronger the more we see of him. Minato would be better as a reasonably strong, mellow and modest character.

But no, in kishimotos eyes he has to be the next incarnation of Christ. Why Kishimoto insists on ruining good characters is beyond me. Minatos just become the next Itachi.

Kishimoto is revealing more of him, establishing him as a stronger OP character to rile the fanbase and his own raging hormones. It's just for the sake of creating a 'cool' 'flashy' character with big jutsu and cool poses to mask the lack of depth.

Minato fans are literally just as bad. And i'm sick of both, neither are better than the other, in fact because Itachi's gone and Kishi's decided to write Minato as the latest incarnation of perfect handsome genius OP christ, I find Minato fans much more annoying as of late. Kishi's portrayal of him more so, it took away from what was a really great chapter.
