Why would anyone hate him? Because he said it,that doesn't mean he will actually become a hokage the very instant the war is over,or even ever...It just means that his resolve to protect Konoha and more importantly for him respect and cherish Itachi's wishes is strong. He may never became a Hokage,or maybe he and Naruto will together some day be Hokages ,who knows...But even If he becomes one,why would that be so strange? Yeah ,he has done some bad stuff,but who hasn't in this manga,it would be him as the first Uchiha,clearing the clan's name...I don't see how you get an idea that someone hates him,he gets hate from people who hate him from the start of the manga,so this just adds up to their hate...

Nah. Naruto and Sasuke look a bit like the whole Elder Son / Younger Son together are the successors of the SO6P. Naruto is the Younger Son, and the Sasuke is the Elder Son who overcame the Curse of Hatred.
