Views on Itachi.......Was he the Strongest????

it seems like every other day i read something somewhere about itachi being scared to fight j-man.......bullshit that was for naruto and his love for the village he would never hurt the village or anyone from it

and as for jutsu,chakra and pure fighting abilities in power,speed and overall ninja skills..........and this is only from what we know.....so you cant realy make arguement for yondaime or madara/tobi or even danzo

here goes my top 5

1) Itachi -becuz of susano/sword of totsuka(spl) combo....just havent seen nething that could beat it (maybe kyubi but dam that sword is wicked)....and no one knows even anyone picked it up after battle....****** prob didn't even know wtf it was and madara is the one who took itachi's body and eyes (just holding them for the time being)

2) Naruto -cuz of will power,9-tails (with or w/o control if it comes out its pwnage) sage mode, mastery of kage bunshin, and his jutsu are uber powerful

now it gets tough......pain,******,j-man and hachibi.....how will they stack up???

3) Hachibi -well we know what the 4 tails of kyubi did to j-man and orochimaru.......and he has full control over biju, not to mention wicked sword skills and lighting jutsu......he basicly killed ****** 3 times and just raped his whole crew as well (remember this is about individuals not teams or naruto,kakashi,yamato,sakura and sai would be my #1)

even tougher now......

4) Sasuke - and i guess i'll give him the honor of spelling his name right.....we all know of his top notch lightning,fire and sword skills but i put him here becuz i look at his sharingan kinda of like ichgo's bankai from bleach.........the both are great powers but have been abtain very quickly w/o much time to mature.......also it was said he was given all of itachi dojutsu......and all we have seen him use is amaterasu and tsukuyomi.......not all sharingan are the same so he may be able to unlock other dojutsu as well......or maybe his just the same cuz they're brothers....or maybe thats just the best set of sharingan justu u can obtain....although i think if an uchiha like itachi were to use kamui (kakashi tech.) it would be even more useful than amaterasu (think about it if itachi had implated an istant response to activate kamui at the site of madaras sharingan......he would have been gone instantly into another dimension....or he could have just popped his head off as kakshi was tryin to do with dedeira

and finally

5) Pain/Nagato -he's here cuz he beat j-man but lost to naruto........his jutsu seem endless,he pwned the entire village and still gave naruto w/sage mode and then the 8-tailed kyubi a run for their money..........it would seem that he should be higher up on the list.....but i just don't no where he would fit......sasuke can't be weaker (well i wouldn't think anyways as it goes against every fighting anime/manga ever made......i mean you don't fight pain and then kakuzu your enemy grows stronger every time.....and pain is dead and sasuke is on his way so.......sasuke has to be stronger by the code of manga

and as for j-man.....it pains me to say i couldn't find a place for him in this list becuz he is definitly one of my all time favs.......but i just couldn't

one last side note was wondering if sword of totsuksa and yata's mirror are a part of susano ......but i don't think so as it apears to show itachi holding a bottle that the spirit sword come out of........i'm unclear on yata's mirror as zetsu says he's using it but itachi himself is not shown holding anything

yea good thread, he was absolutely strong, and i may have said that itachi was afraid from jirayia but i was wrong, when i thought about it a little more, he didnt want to fight jirayia, and he only told kisame that he was afraid, but the truth was, that konoha didnt have any hokage at that time, and if itachi fought jirayia and killed him, konoha would lose a great candidate, but as for the top 5, i agree with most of it, but maybe, in my oppinion, kakashi is kinda stronger than sasuke, and pain is also stronger than sasuke, so kakashi comes before sasuke and nagato come before kakashi.

heres my top list for those we've seen fight
1. itachi
2. naruto
3. hachibi
4. nagato
5. jirayia
6. kakashi
7. sasuke

the list isnt exactly right, since some opponents have better advantage than others, but its just my top list.
sasuke could have beaten nagato maybe, who knows, it all comes to skills. elemental jutsu and so on.
If nagatos intentions were to kill naruto, he could have, easily, but still i put him in 2nd place since 9 tails is stronger than 8 tails.

1) Naruto didnt lose to Pein. Pein was at 30% of his chakra and still captured him. And still did nice against 6-8t. If no hinata, Naruto would be a goner.
2)Hachibi > Pein. Hachibi could not withstand Amaterasu and had to transform, let alone Full power CHibaku Tensei and demonic gates.
3) Naruto > Hachibi, because 9t > 8t
4) And finally do you really think Sasuke could beat J-man?

Many ninjas have different qualities and esp when they haven fought with each other before.. it is hard to compare them with other ninjas.

But yes , Itachi was one of the strongest , just too bad we could not see him in top form.

your list is pretty on point but sasuke is stronger than kakashi and nagato is stronger then hachibii

and what about diedara true sasuke saw through his jutsu and tore it apart through it's only weakness but the man took out gaara, put kakshi in the hospital not to mention think about how easily he could defeat naruto

As i said.. you cant compare them due to their battles not ending , or that the ninjas haven fought before..
You also cant compare ninjas when the battle is not finished..coz in many fights , some ninjas start losing then they get motivation and own the balls off the opponent

But you are right about naruto and sasuke being rivals and that their power is pretty evenly matched. However, the series are called "naruto" and not Sasuke.

As I thought you inderestimate Sasori. Just rewatch his fight vs Chiyo-Sakura and see how many jutsus and techniques he had. + He was almost immortal.

Chiyo-Sakura were nowhere near kakashi....I don't underestimate him....but I don't think you should overpower everyone just cause he is in akatsuki....kakashi is way faster than sasori...+ I think he have 10 times more jutsu and experience...+ sharingan

-Pain because of his rinnegan of course

-Jiraiya because of his hermit mode

look bro the fox is part of him.....it is him.....you gonna give handicaps for sasori usin the 3rd kazekages body and jutsu.....oro usin the 1st and 2nd and nagato usin six f'n dead bodies that you just waste chakra tryin to kill???? not to mention being able to see six dif directions and overall having way more jutsu........u cant do that........also god realm "recharged" also as i said he didn't have a biju and he still did all that damage so his chakra reserves are even or greater than naruto's or he was usin chakra that he absorbed either way he still won

and j-man didn't even fight god realm....i believe he only fought fat,human,and animal pains.......sasuke would atleast force him to use all the bodies and even more so as i said b4.............

ichigo doesn't byakuya kuchiki b4 he fights renji or bald dude

naruto doesn't fight sasuke and then neji
