Best chapter OF ALL TIME

I'm sorry, I know this probably has been made, but I just gotta say this Chapter had EVERYTHING!

- Minato is top 5, thanks to KCM. (Dream of mine)
- Sakura has some hidden power that will make her relevant, and sannin level! Yes!
- Sasuke is still an emo bastard, but it works so well with the team!
- This chapter was full of comedy, Madara's reaction when Hashirama didn't care was priceless!
- Everybody's reaction to Sasuke wanting to be Hokage!
- Sasuke WANTING to be Hokage! Curveball.
- Sasuke no doubt becoming good again now!
- Sakura/Naruto rekindled!

I just... Just... Wow.

Lol I agree with everything you said except maybee the last one. I'm a bit of a NaruHina fan...but disregarding that I found Naruto's more blunt and confused look in his eyes to be less "I love Sakura" oriented as they would have been. I mean, regular Naruto would have pulled a "Hell yeah" and wouldn't have had the confused look.

I guess part of me just thinks he was saying yeah she's a girl that's a friend and hence Sakura's beatdown for not getting it.


Anyways...about time Kishi gave her some spotlight! People need to appreciate characters more. Also, Minato having that cloak is pretty legit!


BEST PART of the entire chapter was Hashirama blowing off Madara xd!!!!!!

+ i also liked the hokage jutsu and the kushina-sakura resemblance

Honestly?

Elegant is not the word I'd use. More like senseless cacaphony of catastrophe.

Throwing all the most powerful people you can think up against a single enemy and pulling arbitrary power-ups out of your ass for them as a matter of routine is just... sloppy.

Why couldn't the Alliance win on its own? Why did the old Hokage have to get involved? Even after adding these people of -legendary- power and ability to the scene... it's still necessary to give them power-ups out of nowhere? And why would a 'barrier jutsu so powerful it needs three kage level ninja to pull off' ever be created... and how would all of them know it?

Then, simply because Sasuke is back ... we're going to suddenly give Sakura "real power" (because using that before she was a speck of carbon at the bottom of an alliance-sized crater was a horrible idea). All so we can have a photo-op of Team Seven ready to spear-head a heavy assault.

When you have to keep mashing the "I believe" button every other pannel you come across... that's not elegant. That's horrible. It means you're separating people from the universe you are trying to show them. It's no longer a plausible place that follows recognizable patterns and rules. It's a series of hairbrained "that will be good" ideas from a dozen different scenarios stitched together as an attempt at forming a single meaningful scene.

It's a concept we term: "Suspension of Reality" - you get a reader/viewer to put their immediate surroundings on hold (suspend them) and enter the world you are trying to show them. If you are going to change physics or introduce unreal concepts - you have to keep them consistent and plausible within the universe - or, as the characters in "Inception" so astutely claim - the mind rejects those experiences the more unrealistic or implausible they seem.

This chapter shows that Kishimoto can't write a plot that adheres to its own rules while achieving his goals.
