Sasuke's character, totally ruined now.

He was influenced by the thing he's loved the most, the thing that has manipulated him throughout the ENTIRE series. His older brother. I predicted Sasuke would be Hokage back in 2011/early 2012, everyone called me stupid and now it looks like it may actually happen. Well atleast we now know how we're going to get our Sasuke vs Naruto fight.

Its completely logical considering how sasuke knew of how much Itachi wanted to protect the village. So I guess he wanted what Itachi wanted. (To protect Konoha)

And that's what changed Sasuke. That's what prompted him to want to become Hokage. So that he can protect the village.

This. If you understand humans atleast a bit you should be able to understand Sasuke's change of heart.

He changed from "Destroy Konoha" into "Save the village and become Hokage" in like what? One hour! This is ridiculous and it doesn't make ANY sense. Sasuke always laughed with Naruto and his Hokage-dream, he didn't care for it for more then 600 chapters... and now all of the sudden he comes in and says he wants to become Hokage too? And that without any look at Naruto... Douchebag!

Whoa, chill out dude, it's just a manga, you should calm down a little.

It's not a whim. I think that Sasuke's reason to become Hokage have more meaning than Naruto's (though I hope Naruto will become Hokage). It's Hokage's fault that his clan was killed and that itachi suffered. If 3rd was a better hokage he would find a better way to deal with things. Instead, he let Danzo do everything his way and that's why entire clan was massacred. Sasuke wants to prevent anything like that happening again and it's kind of noble. Naruto wants to be Hokage only because he want people to respect and like him. Sasuke wants to fix corrupted world. I do understend and agree with Sasuke's motives, but I still don't think that he's Hokage material and that's why I think that it would be stuopid making Sasuke hokage. He's too arrogant and he's not wize.
