Sasuke is really strong BUT Madara was the strongest Uchiha ever.He had the most knowledge about sharingan and lived in an era of non stop fighting since he was a kid, and he wasn´t just fighting anyone he fought a never ending war against the strongest clan the Senju, he defeated with ease super skillful shinobi like Mu and Onoki when he was young...so no Sasuke has not surpassed EMS Madara, maybe he will if he gets a huge power-up.

Madara probably took control of Kurama shortly after leaving Konoha.

In any case, even without Kurama, Madara stomps.
