Does It Say Hinata wants Naruto to love her back? Nope!

Before I thought of making this thread I was thinking on making points on how Hinata's a flawless character (AKA Mary Sue). But while thinking I realized Hinata has not shown a need to be loved back by Naruto.

I'm not real sure of what she said in Japanese when she confessed but I know that Hinata accepts this one-sided love. But in true nature it seems Hinata is too sweet to force Naruto to like her the same way she does. So this means that Hinata doesn't "want" the same affection from Naruto. Does this mean Hinata only cares for Naruto? I doubt that. This maybe offensive to some of you but I think Hinata just loves Naruto as it is.

Sounds like she wants to be more than friends to me U_U I don't think she's petty enough to be angry with Naruto's choice. But certainly she wouldn't just wait around and hope. She definitely wants to be with him...

Be with him. She held his hand but she not walk with him I just realized that. So that had been misinterpreted somehow.

Well I don't think she's perfect (obviously as a child she didn't live up to her father's standards)

But as you pointed out, she has never asked for him to love her back. Hinata deffinatly hopes that he would return her feelings; however, she is not the kind of person who is going to attempt to force his feelings. I guess this shows just how she has real feelings for him (not the Sasuke fangirl type love). She loves him, but is willing to accept it may not happen.

Oh and during her confession she says she was being selfish, that she used to always cry and give up, bit Naruto saved her from that...so she's not afraid to die protecting him because she loves him. (Not word for word, bit a good summary).

I guess part of her has accepted that naruto will most likely never love her like she does. It could be that maybe naruto will realize and accept her, or Hinata will just live like that forever which seems possible because she is so complacent.

Yes Hinata does want him. But she doesn't need his love back. If she did, she wouldn't have smiled when Sakura hugged Naruto.
