I never liked him, but i do not hate him either.
I generally do not like whole ermahgerd sharingan powerups, all the girls trippin over him insanely, and reveeenge things. I do not see charisma a lot too... But he is not that bad of a character.

Yeah, but it's after Itachi shows up that I'm talking about. I said that in the beginning, he was my favorite character. He's starting to turn around now, but he's not necessarily fighting for good yet.

And he technically wasn't really 'nice'. He had a better attitude than he did at the beginning of the series, but he wasn't 'nice'. Not by a long shot.
