if u notice after defeating kabuto by izanami,itachi was able to stop edotensi by gaining the knowledge about edotensi from kabuto.
And after stopping the edotensi itachi tapped the forehead of sasuke(as he does many times to give sasuke his power)

He cant trap kabuto and orochimaru with simple genjutsu.because they are powerful and have sage mode.that means they have better chakra control.

And as we know by disturbing own chakra u can beat genjutsu(teaching of jiraya to naruto).so genjutsu is not an issue for them.

Sasuke will need more powerful techs lyk izanami to defeat or control them
