I think that in the end of the manga, Naruto and everyone else will abolish the current ninja system so it doesn't give rise to more wars. Therefore the Kage system will be swept away.

Naruto is not just not konoha hero anymore......he is world hero now...so he not hokage but leader from 5 kage....
