Another great theory Derp! I must say that the other threads that has been saying the same things have lacked proper evidence so to say. Even though it's not actual evidence what you have found, but it indicates strongly that he was an Uzumaki. The manga is drawn in black and white so I don't think it could be said for sure what colour the Sage's hair is. And we can see his hair actually, only we can't see his face, so why do you think that Kishi shows his silhouette to hide his red hair?
+Kushina's hair didn't turn white...and Mito had her red hair even at old age.
