well, how can i say it ?, he appreciates her love but he has a crush on sakura , he is confused ,sakura is confused ,and we too. but that sasuke turned good everything will be clear soon.
Naruto seems disturbed that Sakura is talking about abandoning Sasuke....

Naruto knows that Sakura has strong feelings for Sasuke, not him ...... and seems to have accepted the fact.
Which brings the question, why Naruto promised Sakura to bring Sasuke back? What was his intention to bringing back his 'love rival' for the one he liked? Was his intention to see Sakura and Sasuke happily together?

This two panels are the fev of NaruSaku fans, who are blind to detail...... Notice how impassive Naruto is to Sakura's hug, and judging from the shoulder position in that panel... Naruto is not even returning the hug, which is a symbol of acceptance.... and right after the panel which is shows Naruto not not accepting Sakura's hug by hugging back, there is a panel showing a smiling Hinata..... read the symbolism.
Judging form manga Naruto does not want to accept Sakura, but seems to be having a growing understanding and closeness with Hinata..... so there is in fact a great chance of Naruto going out with Hinata at the very least.
Naruto accepted the fact that Sakura loves Sasuke in part 1 when she was hugging Sasuke and crying whenever he was in the hospital and whenever she asked him to bring Sasuke back. That still didn't stop Naruto's feelings for her as I have shown in the 2 pages I posted.
Why would Naruto have to hug her back? she was the one thanking him...
Just look at the expression on his face. Does that look like he doesn't like it?
It's nice to see NaruHina actually have some chemistry for once, and they actually have some ground to stand on rather than just "Naruto-kun" 24/7. That still doesn't change anything though because I could bring up way more panels of Naruto and Sakura's chemistry and development than you.
People that think Naruto can just "get over" Sakura and fall for some chick he has next to no relationship or development with baffle me.

Didn't Naruto completely blow Sakura when he was in the Summit? She thought he was trying to get Sasuke back for her sake, but he completely told her he's not doing it for her anymore. He stopped years ago. Also I'm pretty damn sure he said he didn't like girls that lied to themselves. That's a pretty damn big ass hole in your argument. Nice try though.

He rejected her confession and didn't want to go along with it. That doesn't mean he doesn't like her anymore :|
"I hate people that lie to themselves" isn't the same as "I hate you".
It was just a bump in the road but if you watch romantic movies or the like you will see that something like that always happens half way through just to make the relationship more realistic
waaayyyy to early to tell.
-
i mean he has so much to worry about it is really hard to focus on love in the middle of the war.
-
i do believe he is beginning to develop feelings for hinata, but its to early to tell.
-
but as for sakura. Naruto know she loves sasuke and she still does love Sasuke, so i really think he will still stay away from her. mainly because rule 1 of guy code if a girl loves someone you stay away from her
Okay, so you're missing the bigger picture here, like all Sakura fans. Also I never said Naruto hated her, he said he hated girls that lie to themselves meaning he does not like girls that act like Sakura (at that moment)
The bigger picture is that Sakura thinks that Naruto has been doing this for her, while he wasn't. She thought he was chasing Sasuke down because he liked her and wanted to do it for her, but when he said I'm not doing this for you anymore, it was like a "You're not that important, there is something bigger about this than you."
He might still have a small crush on her, but man, don't be so naive and blind as to realize he doesn't like her romantically as much as he did in the first few episodes of Part 1. Maybe he doesn't even like Hinata that much either, but it sure as hell means he doesn't "love" Sakura.

@bold; That flashback I posted was pretty clear how Naruto feels about Sakura and it happened after the Pain arc.
You're right, Sakura did think Naruto was trying to get Sasuke back for her, she only thought of this however, whenever Sai had told her that Naruto was doing it for her. She wasn't even aware of this that's why she was in such shock. She believed what Sai had said, even though it wasn't completely true. That is what lead her to the confession.

HAving feeling for and acting on them is two different things.... But u fail to reply: What was Naruto intention? To see SasuSaku happen? . . . . He obviously will have to have feeling for Sakura or else he wont try to bring Sasuke 'for' her.

'Getting over' takes time.... and may happen. How do you think getting over happens? *Bang* Dating another random chick or First realize and accept the fact that there is another person there for me and then slowly start walking that avenue.....
Also the fact that people want Naruto to run like a dog after a person who will never wholeheartedly love him and also ignore ongoing growth of closeness with Hinata baffles me.

2. Hugging back is usually common courtesy to show acceptance....
3. More like surprised.... and impassive.
4. All comes to the single point of the Kage Summit fake Confession Rejection? Care to answer that?

1. Naruto's intention is to make Sakura happy even it means for her to have Sasuke. It shows that he really does love her and it's not a selfish crush.
2. It was a "thank-you" hug. When someone says "thank-you" to you do you thank them back? Also, he was shocked and probably didn't know how to react.
3. Exactly my point.
4. A bump in the road doesn't end a pairing from happening. It actually makes it realistic. Not everything in real life relationships go handy dandy.
5. Naruto has no need to get over Sakura, you just want him to. It's not like she cheated on him :|
I think he doesnt love her completely but he is starting realize he should love non-fodders
But on a serious note, not yet. We dont want naruto's feelings fickle as autumn skies, if he just switches over to hinata then that would ruin naruhina, he should slowly start to love her, just like hinata slowly started love him than just admire him

I see what you did there, fickle as autumn skies haha.
As for Naruto, he doesn't love Hinata just yet but she has become an important person to him. I am glad that their relationship is progressing at a slow pace. Hinata is not in the background anymore and I am sure that Naruto has an admiration for her. Whether that develops into love we shall see but he sees her differently now that is for sure.
But I don't think his feelings for Sakura are as strong as before. Can't say he has any romantic interest in Hinata because we haven't seen much other than a hand-hold
But I'm confident by the end of the series he'll be with her. I don't Kishi is that hack of a writer to put all that in there for nothing... But as of right now, I don't think he loves her.
i think that sakura has been friend zoned naruto loves sakura but in a sister way and i think we can all agree there relationship is more brother sister than lovers. if naruto does not get together with hinata

When someone says 'thank you', you say 'your welcome' or 'my pleasure' or 'It was my duty, no need to thank' etc. When someone hugs u, u hug them back or at least pat them in the back . . . . . These are common courtesies. Yeah a hug can shock a person who just recently fought a God.
But a crash against a rock forever ends the journey. Till Sasuke is alive there is no chance of NaruSaku, if Sasuke is dead there is very little chance of anything.
Also its hardly a bump.... Naruto out rightly rejected Sakura.
5. Naruto has no need to get over Sakura, you just want him to. It's not like she cheated on him :|
Neither does needs someone with divided loyalty . . . . It not like that He really wants a relationship with Sakura (from Kage Summit) as he seems want Sasuke and Sakura together.
And how has he displayed that he loves Sakura in a way that he does not also love Sasuke?
You're simply assuming that, since she is female and he had a crush on her -years- ago... that he somehow is deeply in love with her.
Naruto hasn't shown much of a romantic leaning since he was a child begging for attention. Now that he has attention - "I want to own pretty things" doesn't rank as high on his priority scale.
NaruHina tards like to assume that he does love her though.
And that tells us that Naruto has romantic feelings for her?
I wouldn't say that his crush has completely dissolved... But I really have to wonder what it is you believe love to be.
Love is something born of deep, fundamental connections to a person. You share not just a few things, not just common/identifiable history - but feelings and a perspective that have shaped who you are as a person.
Does Naruto still find Sakura cute? Sure.
But... if this bond that Naruto and Sakura share... all this 'chemistry' you claim to have observed... was really in support of a developing romantic relationship between Naruto and Sakura... why this:

.... Why is it such a surprise to Sakura that Naruto loves her... and why is the main revelation that he does from when they were still genin?
If there was all this "chemistry" between the two...
And then she runs off, thinking that if she confesses to Naruto - she can convince him to not chase after Sasuke - because, obviously, Naruto is only doing this for her (despite the fact that Shizune says: "Yeah, duh - but Naruto also wants to bring Sasuke back for his own reasons" a few moments later).
Where is the deep connection to his character? She is acting more out of guilt, here, than out of genuine compassion and understanding for Naruto. Sai is the one who brings about all the 'stunning realizations' that Sakura, with all the chemistry she and Naruto share, should have noticed a long time ago.
Compare that to the connection shared between Naruto and Hinata (I'm not posting a link to my thread again). Compare that to the intrinsic understanding of each other:

Those are deep, intrinsic connections that run to the core of their character.
They 'get' each other.
I know you want to believe in the power of tsundere... but in Sakura's case... it just doesn't work. There's too much tsun, and the dere is mostly out of guilt than derived from genuine understanding and compassion.
I think it's pretty clear that Naruto cares for Hinata on a level equal to Sakura and Sasuke. On the whole, he really doesn't have much in the way of romantic feelings - they are largely alien to him. But he does share a very deep seated connection to Hinata that could naturally adapt into a closer relationship that develops into a romance with 'minitos' and 'mininatas' running around.
