The ending to the game doesnt sit right with me. The game itself is great, and despite what others say about it I appreciate what they were aiming for with this game and the series. As for the ending, again, it just leaves a bad taste in my mouth. Both the Madara and Naruto ending. I completely understand WHY they did it (for spoiler reasons with Tobi, having a logical reason to explore the world during the war arc after beating the story mode, and because they couldn't continue further in the story as they were already ahead of the anime), but I feel as though it was poorly executed. In my opinion, they could have done 1 of 2 things to fix the ending, and satisfy both the fans, and prevent going further into the story.
1) They could have pushed the games release date until this summer. As much as I was dying to play the game, I would have rather they waited to release the game so they could have ended it on more accurate terms, but still with some slight re-writes.
2) Madara's retreat I feel was kinda unavoidable, that battle doesnt have a distinct end. So I can overlook that battle. However, with the Tobi fight, I feel like the best possible ending would have been to have an accurate fight (with Kakashi and Guy present) but too end the fight right when Naruto breaks Tobi's mask. Then begin Storm 4 with a prologue mission of Obito's backstory, which would transition back into the fight. Similar to the manga chapter where Tobi's identity was revealed.
