Mangas are far easier to read. Comics have a lot more text in the bubbles/panels and is somewhat overwhelming most of the times.

Also comics tend to be ongoing with crossovers while mangas usually have a concentrated storyline that is bound to end, making them easier to understand and follow.

The biggest upside to comics is that they are in color and mangas are usually black and white.

I enjoy both. Both have bad series and are full of good ones. You can't really generally compare them because their concepts and series are all different. Now, crossover fights, for one, are a different ball game.

The art work is usually way better.American comics have poor convoluted stories about the same characters that get either rehashed or rebooted way too often lacking any room for creativity.The powers and explanations behind their powers are also piss poor as well.

Are you an artist? Because I am and I found the bold funny...that's not a good joke. And if we want to talk about multiple series being involved you can mention Pokemon's 15+, anime that extend pass 1000, Dragon Ball franchise, etc. And that "powers" thing is debatable since the explanations are usually brought out through the beginning. I get the feeling you are a Goku fan who tried to state PIS on something like Superman pulling planets on a chain, but maybe not.

did you even think about what your stating shonen jump crosses many series and characters just like marvel and to say which one is superior would be a challenge in it self

Of course I thought about it. Marvel comics have been my favorite my entire life. I am not saying which is superior. I am saying which is my favorite. I will always prefer marvel comics. I still love manga though. Just not as much.
