Exactly, I just want kishi to break the cycle once... I think it would improve the story so much if a villain actually died believing in THEIR way, as wrong as it may be.

It adds to the tragicness of the character.

they can foil madara's plan

uchiha considering they can break through the infinite tsukoyomi or be immune to it
or
uzumakis can help seal the 10 tails after it has been revived

Juubi Can't be stopped it can be only be sealed and only by Uzumakis(Bcoz they r known for their Sealing Jutsus)

The massacre of the Uzumaki had to have been when Kushina was very young.. and she was like 12-14yrs older than Obito and Kakashi I think. I'm not sure if 12yrs would have that much of a difference in an old man well in his 90s. Perhaps he used what was left of his strength to do it and that was the real reason for why he was crippled so badly by the time Obito knew him? Hard to say.

For all we know the Uzumaki could have destroyed their own village and spread out to avoid the inevitable since they were supposedly so powerful. Maybe those answers will be given to us at a later time.

Madara might have tried to obtain Uzumaki DNA after his battle with Hashirama.
Because Hashirama's DNA wasn't working at that time.
Uzumakis were the distant relatives of the Senjus and had the strong life force. That can be a reason how Madara remained still alive apart from being connected to the Mazo.
