] This being the case, the Bijūdama wouldn't explode, and would rather just wither down. Nagato's downfall against Naruto however, would be the time it takes for the Gakidō to absorb an attack, meaning that it'd have trouble with attacks like the Renzoku Bijūdama, since it would take too much time to absorb, and would provide an opening for other attacks, such as Taijutsu.

The Yata no Kagami has been canonically stated to be invincible. If you disagree with Kishi's statement, take it up with him, I won't waste time explaining why it would be able to hold against the Bijūdama.

Not to mention that the scan you provided was of the blast created by seven Bijū at once.

I disagree. A healthy Itachi is on a tier or two lower than a healthy Nagato. Same with Pein and a non healthy Itachi.

There's a considerable gap in power between the two.

Because by that logic Nagato > the verse since he can absorb Perfect Susanoo effortlessly.

You're not taking into account that:

1. The Bijūdama wouldn't blow up, due to the properties of the Fūjutsu Kyūin
2. The blast created by the Bijūdama in your scan was created by Seven different Bijū at once.

While I'm on the Itachi = Nagato (or very close, at least) side; I do agree that Preta absorbs all ninjutsu.

The thing is though, for giant stuff like Susano'o or TBB, it takes ta fair amount of time:

So it wouldn't be feasible to absorb a construct as large as Susano'o or TBB but

he would be immune to it.

Then again, that's also debatable. If chakra is used to send natural shrapnel everywhere...

Preta shouldn't be immune to the shrapnel.

So stuff like Susano'o could sweep a enormous rocks at Nagato, burn his Shinra Tensei,

and then do it again within five seconds.

So he absorbs the thing causing the shrapnel ... Nagato is capable of doing 6 things so while itachi is aiming this shrapnel( that nagato could dodge) Preta absorbs the susunoo
