if naruto would be a hokage

how would they do it? would they make tsunade die from some kind of orochimaru fight 1v1, or would they do what some kind of minato and 3rd hokage type of thing

"Old hokage" doesn't have to die to get replaced. 3rd Hokage was alive when the 4th was selected. So if Naruto does become the 6th Hokage, he will simply replace Tsunade.

I know Naruto wants to become Hokage, but I can't see that happening. If it does it will be the end of the anime. Logically he can't be the fighter that he is now. His movements will be limited to the Leaf. Rarely does the Hokages leave their village. To me he is still to young and naive to hold that position, understand where I'm coming from. Gara is young also, but he is wise and calculated. Shikamaru is the most obvious choice after Kakashi and I don't see Kakashi doing it either because that takes him out of the story line and limited to the Hokage desk.

Right now during the war he is showing he has what is required to be a hokage. Not only is he insanely strong but he also has the ability to reinforce the battlefield and control what's going on. If Tsunade survives she'll be very weakened from her wounds and name Naruto as her successor. He won't handle the day to day as of yet but he will be an enforcer and protector while he learns the duties. Much like his father did with Sarutobi. I see Shikimaru and Kaskashi stepping forward as trusted advisers to Naruto through this process as well.

You have a good point but the story can't go on and on forever so I think eventually he'll become the Hokage.

Shikamaru was established as being to lazy for the job plus he isn't powerful enough, he is jonin level but being the strongest is considered the most important trait to be Hokage.

And there was Hashirama who was naïve and idealistic just like Naruto.

I suspect that either Tsunade dies or resigns and hands the position to Naruto, he still needs some more development but we have a year of manga left, plus the four Hokages are coming and I suspect one of the main reasons Kishi brought them back in was so that they could meet Naruto.

I think the Hokages are going to teach Naruto a thing or two about leadership and he will learn from their past mistakes.

He did say he wanted to be the greatest Hokage of all.

I think he would have multiple clones patrolling konoha, & doing paper work, If theres a crisis then that clone would disappear & alert the rest.

This is a great system imo.


OT: tsunade might die reviving the kage, & hashi will find out somehow & go apesh*t on madara.

Ditto to that last point. Sounds reasonable. I can't see him becoming Hokage without some serious developments.
