I started disliking Itachi when I found out he was actually a spy and a hero... When that chapter first came out I was sort of like "WTF?!".

The idea grew on me and I eventually liked it as time went on. But I still perfered the efvil Itachi we all knew before then.

His fanboys are a reason why I dislike the character even more. It's an obvious reason.

But, during the War Arc he just was nut.... He was incredibly OP, while nearly every other Edo was turned into a fodder... Itachi got an upgrade. Izanami.

While not an always practical jutsu, it was the biggest asspull. Itachi had a move, never rumored that he had it, that seemed to be the only way to defeat Kabuto at the time... It's just dumb.

That, and his character once he was revived seemed. . Lacking. He was too caring, was acting too friendly to everyone... He was OOC, for me atleast.

And his move list is amazingly OP. He is stacked so that if you'e hit with either:

Amaterasu
Totsuka Blade
Tsukuyomi
Susano'o

You're screwed! Even if you somehow have a counter to one, he has a bunch more "**** off" techniques that can cause serious damage or even finish the fight.

And Yata Mirror, an overestimated weapon that apparently blocks everything!

And his one weakness is his stamina? Come on... That's a terrible weakness! "Oh, don't worry. If he uses his MS, he can only have it up for maybe five minutes while using these techniques." Good luck surviving fire that appears on you, can't be put out, and is hotter than the average flame....

That, and literally he is annoying when he one shots ninja of the same caliber as him.

I don't dislike Itachi, I dislike the fact that Kishi is making a big deal out of him and having him win bs fights and get undue hype just to service the lamest sector of itachi fans.

I still haven't seen anyone reasonably explian how
a. Itachi was able to see and disable the king of hell when it's a spiritual manifestation only seen by the victim, which was the key to him surprising nagato
b. why izanami doesn't require senju dna when it's twin izanagi does, and how the heck can izanami have been created to stop izanagi when the only two shinobi capable of using izanagi should have been madara and obito (the only two uchiha who stole senju dna), and both were in hiding.

Also there's a lot of crap about Itachi planning to break free of edo tensei or being strong enough to do so when it was a pure fluke, plus the solo king crap when the only two very strong shinobi he's soloed he had a lot of help. beating part 1 kakashi, naruto and sasuke, deidara and orochimaru does not make a solo king. Madara and any other top 5 could defeat all of those at once.

I discovered that itachi haters increased during war arc and that because he soloed their favourite characters :


1) nagato's fans are hating itachi because itachi finished their idol in 2sec.

Amatarsu + totsuko blade = nagato's end


2) sasuke's fans dislike itachi because sasuke's EMS isn't enough to beat itachi MS.
Review itachi vs kabuto ( u will see that sasuke was useless )


3) everyone envy itachi because his solo ability is behind imagination since
He soloed the strongest ninja in the series like they were nothing

For example: deidara, orochimaru, kabuto, nagato, konoha's jounins and finally the uchiha clan ..


I used to dislike itachi before war arc but now I am his loyal fanboy in NB
And I want to say that itachi deserves respect not hate ..
