[Theory] Rikudou Sennin Had Rinnegan Before He Fought Juubi

According to Jiraiya,the Sage was a monk who appeared long ago in an age of endless war. He was the first to discover the truth of chakra,and with it he tried to lead the world to an era of peace instead of conflict. He travelled across the land, spreading his ideal and religion, the Shinobi Sect which eventually came to be known as ninjutsu. His great deeds and ultimate desire to bring peace to the war-torn world made him widely known as the Saviour of this World Centuries ago, the sage defeated the most powerful demon in the ninja world the Ten-Tails and was praised as a god for the virtue of his victory.

Now then how could a man have followers and even a story if he fought the juubi a near decade later?

And to you all if both of them had a different eye why doesn't rikudou have tomoes?

It wouldn't make sense how Uchicha + Senju/Uzumaki = Rinnegan.
Juubi = Sharingan/Spiritual = Uchicha
Rikudou Sennin = Life force/Physical = Senju
Juubi + Rikudou Sennin = Sage of Six Paths = Rinnegan

Rinnegan is a mutation. Since we have already learn that Jinchuuriki does share DNA with the bijuu. Like Naruto with uber healing, 4 tails host with lava release, Bee with Ink release.

It really doesn't make sense for the Sage to be born with Rinnegan, the same eye (more or less) than the progenitor of all that exists in NV.

Possibly because the Juubi was full of rage and yin chakra resulting in a more demonic eye, the sage acquired the Rinnegan because his life force and yang chakra

That's where the sharingan came from, the juubi's eye, yin chakra

DNA get mixed together. With obviously effect his children as well. How do you think Uchicha appeared with 3 tomes Sharingan when Juubi has the first and original one? By Plot?

Why do you think Elder Son had a different looking of eye from Rikudou? Maybe because he had more DNA from Juubi than DNA from Rikudou. With would mean that he is getting a step closer to the Sharingan than the Rinnegan.

The Rinnegan is Eye (Sharingan/Uchiha) + Body (Senju/Mokuton) of the Juubi combined, that is why Madara awakened it when he implanted Hashirama's cells.

It doesn't mean that the Rinnegan was the sole instrument of how Rikudou discovered Chakra. There are many possibilities Kishimoto will devise on how Rikudou created Ninjutsu prior to his acquisition of the Rinnegan from the Juubi.

Rikudou was an Uzumaki

Uzumaki were feared for their powerful fuinjutsu, Kushina's chakra chains looked exactly like the Gedo mazou's (Juubi's shell)

Uzumaki (Juubi) = Senju + Uchiha

That is why the Rinnegan's abilities are vastly different from the Sharingan, because the Juubi's influence doesn't corrupt the user, the Sharingan is the eye that reflects feelings, meaning any alteration of emotions could easily sway or corrupt the user, look at the Elder Son, because of his hatred for not being chosen as his father's successor his eye mutated into the Sharingan.
