I am sick and tired of Itachi. People don't seem to realize that he doesn't deserve his skills. He's waaay stronger than he should be. It's gotten so bad that everything about his character feels like an ass pull.
The MS techs:
Tsukuyomi - a one shot technique, one look into his eyes and you're dead. The only way to break Tsukuyomi is to have the same blood as Itachi and to be good at using your Sharingan. What a ****ing joke. There is only one person that can break it.
Amaterasu - another one shot technique. The conception of this technique is just ridiculous. A flame that appears on the target? Excuse me? But the stupidity doesn't stop there, it's an extremely hot flame that can burn anything and lasts for days. Good job, Kishi.
On top of this Itachi has access to all forms of Susano'o (except PS). But why is Itachi the only one who has two GODLY items equipped to it? How much power does a character need before enough is enough? I really can't wrap my head around how this is even fair or even reasonable.
Sword of totsuka - another goddamn one shot move. Seals whatever it pierces. Pure BS.
Yata Mirror - reflects and defends anything and can change it's shape. Purer BS.
Yasaka Magatama - this seemed balanced, until noticed how ****ing big the explosions were.
Even if I ignore Itachi's MS techs, he has:
Shadow Clone, Crows, KA bird, Fire & water release, ridiculous shuriken skill, strong genjutsu, shunshin, crazy handseal speed, 5/5 intelligence, Izanami, and probably Izanagi too.
Kakashi is meant to be the one with 1000 techs, not Itachi. Why give him such a versatile movepool?
Let's look at Hashirama for example. He's strong and overpowered, but at least most of his techniques are wood based.
Gaara is pretty strong too in his own right and his techniques are sand based.
Naruto techs revolve around Kyuubi.
Minato mainly uses FTG.
Nagato he is extremely overpowered, but at least he's only good at Rinnegan techs.
Itachi's abilities don't make sense. There is no real theme. He is a master of genjutsu, but also excels in other aspects. His array of moves seemingly give him a counter for everything.
Such a terrible design. Itachi was meant to be a gentle person who hated fighting, and yet his techniques make me think of an angry beast on steroids. What's worse is that people actually worship this monstrosity.
