Who will win in a Fight Between The Fourth hokage and Itachi?

hard to say... it would be a very interesting thats for sure, but don't see a clear winner between the two so I say its draw...

i would sasuke itachi because the 4th had problems with tobi because of the sharigan remember

my mistake after I posted I looked at the manga to check and you're right he says "he saw trough everything I did" which means he fought with Tobi

4th wins hands down (waits for someone to argue ) you say the fourth only has thunder god and rasengan right?I think the major thing your also forgetting is that he was a master of sealing....you think he wouldn't have a sealing jutsu to stop the 'summoning' thats right its a summons that itachi has a reverse summoning/sealing technique to stop him from summoning it....o oh itachi is in the sh*t ameratsu hmmm jiraya sealed a bit of it into a scroll and he's not an expert at sealing.... you think the master of sealing,minato wouldn't be able to seal/dodge (with thunder god jutsu) ameratsu? pffft please I've just picked holes in any arguement about itachi being better than minato in the space of a few minutes...and thats just based off the small bit of the 4th that we've seen,we have seen tons of itachi and he still doesn't stand up against him so imagine if we saw what else minato could do.....U_U pawnage.

You think Minato is good enough at sealing where he can just bring Susanno down before Itachi uses it? Or that he can just seal Amaterasu while its heading straight for him. I agree that Minato can Dodge amaterasu but he cant seal it in the 2 seconds or so that its coming at him. Tsuklyomi Is the jutsu that will bring Minato down. You cant argue with that, If Itachi looks at Minato than Minato gets stuck in the genjutsu and then he is done, He cant withstand it like sasuke did, hes not an Uchiha nor does he have the sharingan. You say you can pick holes in any itachi/minato argument i want to hear your opinion in genjutsu and Susanno, because i do know that minato is good enough to get around amaterasu but he cant seal it only dodge

-facepalm- He did while not fighting Itachi and while the flames burned somewhere else. If Itachi directed Amaterasu at Jiraya he would have died, or at least not have been able to seal it.

He has a flying thunder God jutsu. That's why he was feared so much and he will just teleport to the behind of itachi and rasengan him. That's what he did to other shinobi.

-Itachi is very fast, you say? Yes, he is very fast, but not neraly as fast as Space/time manipulations.


Itachi wont even have the chance to use that Amaterasu or Susanoo of his.

im new so this old thread is new to me and probably some other people so old threads are probably brought back so new ideas can be heard its not a difficult question to answer and if u want a new thread so bad u could just make one and stop complaining

now as to which one of these power houses would win the deciding factor will come down to whether or not the 4th uses hand signs and if he does itachi all the way bit if he doesnt than i have no idea

hard to say, think it depends on who starts first with his strongest techniques. if itachi hits the 4th with tsukoyomi or amaterasu, 4th would be gone, but if the fourth knew what itachi can do, he would abuse flying thundergod to stay behind itachi, who could only defend himself with susanoo. but itachi isnt able to use it for a longer time without becoming blind, so he would loose once the fourth gets to know how itachis sharingan works.
