I'm pretty sure the first episode Ted tells his kids about meeting Robin and at the end says "and that's how i met your aunt Robin". Which theory eliminated Robin from the beginning.

The show 24 has done a season of 24 hours. It can be done. Good or bad remains to be seen. As far as the future Mrs Mosby, she was credited as "the girl with the yellow umbrella" so it could be a misdirect, but who, other than the creators know? I actually like who was cast. She's like a cross between Lily and Robin. In looks wise anyway.
