I thought it would have been obvious to one of the more intelligent members of the One Piece fanbase on NB that Smoker has potential to become an admiral level marine seeing as he is a mid-VA level and climbed two (or three) ranks in just 2 years

And are you implying that Doffy is not Admiral level?

I think Doffy is a little weaker than the admirals, but he could give them a decent fight.
