It doesn't. This is the point I've been trying to make. He showed no effort doing that. People are assuming that just because FTG and space-time barrier are both teleporting jutsu and that they're similar, that they chakra required is the same for each. People just don't want to except that ranged attacks are useless against Minato.

If Minato were to have attempted to do that while he was alive, he would have died of chakra exhaustion before even transporting even half of it; we've seen Kurama's Tailed Beast Bomb exhaust him, yet the Juubi's Tailed Beast Bomb dwarfs the Hachibi and is many times larger and more powerful than a Tailed Beast Bomb from a regular biju.

Maybe the speed of teleporting is directly proportional with chakra usage, and minato wanted to save chakra to seal the kyuubi and defeat obito, while now he is edo so he doesnt give a f*ck ?

Minato wasnt tired after kurama's TBB, he was tired from teleporting kurama thou, where he needed both time and building up more chakra.
Kurama is extremely small compared to juubi that created TBB almost a size of itself.

lol he was exhausted????? yet AFTER WARPING THE TBB HE was able to defeat obito and make obito flee. and minato was able to seal kyuubi and summon rds while injured by the kyuubi claw? lol that barrier really took the wind out of him lol FAIL!!!

not to mention teleporting the kyuubi itself!

Point is. Minato can spam teleporting seals like nobodies business because that's what he specializes in. Meaning all ranged attacks probably fall prey to Minato's seals.

I wonder if Minato could teleport the Toskuka sword?
