Dos Sasuke deserve a punishment for his crimes?

To the village leaders, yes. But think about it. Did he really do anything that bad besides join the Akatsuki, raid the Kage summit, try and kill his sensei and teammates, assualt Cloud's Jin, fall into darkness, assist Orochimaru, threaten to destroy the Leaf, kill Danzo, and go rouge?

Sasuke = Naruto (or maybe Naruto is slightly stronger or backwards), so I doubt Naruto would help the Kages kill Sasuke, and with his new EMS he could kill them, and even if he couldn't, Naruto would help him. Maybe not kill him, but to calm them down.

Honestly, as much as I love Sasuke, yeah he should. You can't just attack the Kage's summit and get away with that. But alas, he will probably get away with it anyways.

He launched an attack on the five kage, killed countless samurai, and killed the standing Hokage of the Village Hidden in the Leaves. He deserves to be punished.

Sasuke helped Orochimaru do nasty things? He found his experiments deplorable.

OT: He won't be outright forgiven, all is good since you want to help out but taking into consideration his part in saving the alliance from Edo Tensei, to which Onoki seemed to think highly of as it doesn't matter who did it, they're a hero to the shinobi world. Also, without him, the alliance would've fallen this latest chapter. He directly saved thousands with his actions.

He'll be forgiven, I don't understand why there are fans who would feel outraged at this. He has done more good than bad honestly.

In all fairness it was self defense and besides he warned them not to come at him.

He came explicitly to kill one of the Kage reunited and the samurai were instructed to defend the Kage, at that point he was presumed to have killed the brother of the Raikage.
With that argument we could say that a wanted criminal gets a pass if he kills cops who are attempting to catch him, even if he was actually innocent (although he still had every intention of committing said crime).
