I think we will see some really nice Uryuu powerup!Remember Ichigo vs that Quincy captain in Hueko Mundo a few months ago?He said that his attacks shouldnt be more powerfull than Uryuu's...so we only have to guess that the young Quincy had joined them long ago thats why we never got to see him in this arc before....

I too am at an uneased point wit the answer Isshin gave about Masaki's death. It sounds basically that there was no confirmation that it was the Grand Fisher that killed her but that the same time the Grand Fisher was only brought up for his initial appearance. The chapter was quite dramatic in a good way but some fo these answers were left too questionably open. I was actually hoping for a bit more of the twist i was trying to predict, like Ichigo accidentally killing his mom when the Grand Fisher appeared. That wouldve made a big statement for Ichigo to learn more about himself.

Juha Bach pretty much had nothing to due with Masaki's death, other than the plot to destroy all Quincy that are not pure blood or recruit them if they wish to join the ranks.

to those who said Revenge is above Urryuu, think back to the beginning. Urryuu started attacking Ichigo from the start stated he hated all Shinigami because they killed his family except his father. Revenge was there from the beginning no matter how nice he portrays himself. He joined Ichigo unwillingly in the beginning as well as eventually becoming friends. Perhaps its the classic rule of "Keep your friends close, but keep your enemies closer". Urryuu's point of view as of this chapter sends a double edged sword message to me. i honestly have no idea where he is going or what he is going to do in the storyline.

1. Urryuu joins the ranks of the Quincy Army to become stronger and exact revenge among the Shinigami as original intended in the beginning.

2. He joins the ranks to become stronger and learn the Quincy techniques at a deeper level to help Ichigo in the long run of things.

Tbh, the really reminds me of the anime "X"... 2 best friends in the same world born almost at the same time and look alike, but with different mothers, just about average. Both Chosen by 2 gods to become vessels of 2 dragon spirits. one of light and one of darkness (or life and destruction, which ever you prefer). One has to make the choice of of which dragon they wish to represent or the choice will be chosen for them and unbeknownst to them they will have to fight and kill each other. - sorry for the poor summary there, its been years since ive seen that anime, but it feels as if Kubo wanted to borrow the idea. X is a great anime to watch if anyone is interested.

Man what a great chapter we got tons of questions answered. Like how Juha Bach is supposedly a human and still alive. What really happened to Ichigo's mom(seriously Grand Fisher shouldn't have been a problem especially since she owned that Hollow that Aizen created). And we got confirmation of who Ishida's mom was and how she died. Not to mention the twist at the end with Ishida joining the Vandenreich. Although I think he is gonna betray Juha Bach at some point...

But does anyone remember when Juha said to Ichigo that the memories in his Rietsu awakened his Quincy powers...do you think he could of meant that Juha had taken Ichigo's quincy powers as a kid and that's why he never showed any traits of a Quincy.

Not an impossible logic following the reasoning Bleach often uses, but still how can he awaken something Bach had stolen?

Pretty weird and the fact that he didn't use them before can easily be explained by that he also had hollow and shinigami powers inside him.

This was a ridiculously great chapter. I am very satisfied with the amount of suspense and plot twist.... Though there's so much to look forward to. Hopefully Tite doesn't let us down
