Uzumaki Naruto should be Namikaze Naruto?

Since Naruto and a lot of other people know that Minato is Naruto's father, shouldn't Naruto replace 'Uzumaki' with 'Namikaze'? After all, you usually take the last name of your father.

Well he was born Naruto Uzumaki and its on his birth certificate I'm assuming, so his name won't automatically change now he knows who his father is.

I don't think he's changing it. Hell, I'm almost positive Kishimoto wanted to make Minato an Uzumaki but went with the mom after he designed the clan's hair and stuff. Yeah, I think he's sticking with Uzumaki.

minato and kushina only thought of their son's name is naruto after they had agreed to use it from the main character of jiraya's first book. i thought, perhaps the third hokage's choose to name it as uzumaki due to protection purposed.
