READ: This is for people who are taking AP Euro currently or those who have taken the class in the past. If not, anyone who's taken an AP history class could help too.

Hello. Well I guess I'll just cut right to the chase -- my exam's tomorrow. I've been studying my butt off for the past 3-4 weeks. I took a cumulative multiple choice test this week ranging from the Renaissance to the Cold War... pretty sure I failed it (I hardly ever fail in this class, although I'm more of a science/math guy). I also recently found out that I'm not a flashcards person, but I retain info a lot better by reading the information, talking aloud to myself, and even re-writing it (I need to have at least two of the visual-auditory-kinesthetic "trio" in use to effectively retain the information). Right now, I'm reading my textbook and referring to my study packet. I need help solely on MC, my FRQ/DBQ skills dwarf my MC skills... I've no idea why. So does anyone have any advice? I'll be up late tonight (twelve-ish, maybe one) just studying. I take breaks to let my brain digest the information.

Any help is appreciated, thanks in advance.

There is a site called quizlet that I used to use. All you need to do is type in "AP European History" and I'm sure it will come up. It gives you practice tests and stuff. It's worth looking into.

FRQ's are really easy if you know stuff about the concerning topic. But DBQ's are completely different. You need to site the majority of the documents in your response. And I'm pretty bad that them myself so I can't speak. But meh. So I can't say much.

Yeah I feel the same too. Although my analysis>MC, DBQs are in a league of their own. Their pretty confusing too.

The word them to be confusing. You need to try to simplify the question. In your DBQ thesis you basically outline what you're going to explain for the 3-5 paragraphs.

Alright. Do you (or does anyone here) have any good grouping strategies? I get so distracted when I realize that maybe 7-8 of the 12 docs have something in common, while the others "seem" to have no point at all. I just stare at the paper.

This was one of the easiest tests i've ever taken. I quite literally slept through the entire class and got a 3. It's not hard at all.
