I am in no way insulting your beliefs nor am i saying that mine is correct but only trying to get your simple and honest opinion on this quote that i find very interesting.

"Is god willing to prevent evil, but not able? Then he is not omnipotent. Is he able, but not willing? Then he is malevolent. Is he both able and willing? then whence cometh evil? Is he neither able nor willing? then why call him god? - Epicurus.

Tell what what you think.

I think you will get pseudo and rhetorical feedback that do not directly answer your question.
As if what they post will negate and prove the quote above untrue or meaningless.

It doesn't matter what the hell God wants or not. If he does exist, he gave us humans free choice to do as we will for a reason. He's not there for us to rely upon, so this thread is mute.

God is just a product of consciousness...or temporary disability to explain things happening in nature...

I personally believe there's only ONE GOD, and it's actually NATURE:cool:

I didn't say any of those things, i just asked for your simple opinion on the quote itself. which you didn't manage to do.

God can stop evil but he gave humans free will if we follow gods will evil things wouldn't happen
God intervening would make free will pointless

You can't simply put human logic into it. Everything happens for reason. If you really want to know, just die :3

To reason one requires logic.
How do you obtain the knowledge that everything happens for a reason without first not knowing that their is a supposed purpose ? And what is that purpose ?

Also the thread maker never question whether god has a plan or not only in which the way he may or may not interact with us.

God gave us free will, therefore what happens is what WE choose to make happen. If God made us all do exactly as he wanted, and made us love him, what kind I love is that? We'd just be mindless zombies.
