Ace was defeated by BB and BB was defeated by WB who was seconds from dying. Vista was fighting Mihawk who is a top tier for a few chapters. How come you think Vista is weaker than Ace? :heh:

Vista wasn't all that impressive in the Marineford war. I can see Ace winning with high diff.

Marco had faith in him to protect Luffy from the WSS(a top tier) which he did.

WB and the top 3 commanders were hyped by Oda using top tier opponents.

Well thats true, but I don't think Mihawk was really trying. He was thinking about luffy during their fight, when he said that luffy turned everybody around him into his allies.

Marco was the only one who stood his ground against the admirals but others just seemed weak for some reason.

other members did fight the admirals and shichibukai but their powers seemed to be one dimensional.
eg that diamond guy, his power makes me want to puke.

Well thats true, but I don't think Mihawk was really trying. He was thinking about luffy during their fight, when he said that luffy turned everybody around him into his allies.

Still doesn't change the fact Marco believed Vista could hold off Luffy. Plus Mihawk even said Vista is a name renowned among the world. Furthermore, Vista was just smiling throughout the fight as well, so neither of them really tried.
