LONG post.

I just got an idea that I think would be pretty interesting.

The first teamwork that Naruto and Sasuke exhibited was in the original encounter with Zabuza. In that fight, Kakashi was trapped in a water prison, and the situation suddenly looked pretty bleak. However, Naruto and Sasuke were able to come up with a plan. First, Sasuke threw two Shuriken at Zabuza. He caught the first one with ease and jumped over the second one, which Naruto had transformed into. Naruto was then able to transform back and a throw a kunai at Zabuza, forcing him to release kakashi. This event instituted the mutual respect between Naruto and Sasuke that spawned their friendship.

Thinking about this fight, and comparing it to the current situation, gave me a good idea. It's so obvious and the potential for symbolism is so great that I'd be very surprised if someone hadn't posted about it already. I'll continue anyway.

As it stands now (at least I think, 628 confused me a little), Kakashi and Obito are in the Kamui dimension, most likely preparing to fight. What if Obito defeats or somehow strands Kakashi in that dimension (maybe takes back his sharingan?), and goes back to the real world?

Suddenly, from Naruto's perspective, Obito has returned and he has no idea where his sensei is. The thoughts that would likely run through his mind- 'Is Kakashi hurt? Possibly even dead?- would combine with the reality that it was up to him to save Kakashi. Let's be real... if Obito's power rivals Madara's, then only Naruto would have a chance against him. All these factors would combine to create a pretty bleak situation.

But then! In the same way that Naruto's call to action and quick thinking against Zabuza kept hope alive, if Sasuke showed up and joined Naruto against Obito, there would definitely be a noted surge in morale.

This is where things get interesting. In this theoretical situation, Naruto and Sasuke would be working together to fight Obito and save kakashi from the Kamui dimension. Sounds similar to the other conflict where they are fighting Zabuza to free Kakashi from the water prison, doesn't it?

Now, you're probably thinking to yourself, "Okay, OP. That's a nice little theory you have. But what else is there that would connect the two scenarios?" And that's a good question. There are, in fact, a couple more links.

First and foremost, the bond between Naruto and Sasuke! Yeah, that one little thing that Kishimoto shoves down our throat every Wednesday. In the fight against Zabuza, that bond was non-existent. But the result of it spawned a friendship between Naruto and Sasuke. As you all know, that bond has broken up and fallen apart since then. What better way to rekindle that friendship than in the same way it first began?

The next link is the fact that Naruto's main technique is in the form of a Shuriken! Just like the one (except less chakra-y, and a tad less powerful) that Naruto transformed into and Sasuke threw to free Kakashi from the water prison.

Now, you're probably thinking to yourself, "That's great and all, but there are some glaring issues with this *coughbadcough* theory. First of all, against Zabuza, Sasuke threw the shuriken, not Naruto. Secondly, you wouldn't be able to free Kakashi from the other dimension by simply throwing a rasenshuriken at Obito." And my reaction to that would be.... a few tears. I hadn't thought that far yet. Thanks for ruining my day.

Just kidding. My answer to how Sasuke is supposed to throw the shuriken, not Naruto, is symbolism. Think back- in the first few episodes of Naruto, in which the fight against Zabuza took place, Sasuke was more powerful than Naruto. He was the dominant fighter, and Naruto was the support. That is one of the reasons why he threw the shuriken. Naruto using rasenshuriken, and Sasuke transforming into it (is that possible?), would symbolize Naruto surpassing Sasuke. The roles have been reversed; Naruto is now in the position of power.

Onto the final problem- a rasenshuriken wouldn't free Kakashi from the other dimension. In fact, it's dangerous because you risk killing Obito and, as a consequence, permanently trapping (or killing) Kakashi. That would normally be the case, but if Sasuke were to be disguised as the rasenshuriken, he could transform back and catch Obito off guard enough to use a sharingan technique. I'm not entirely sure what he'd be able to do to save Kakashi. Maybe he has a technique he hasn't shown yet. Or maybe it's already within his abilities ... I don't remember how but I recall Sasuke looking into Naruto, and seeing Kurama within him, during their original reunion in Shippuden. Perhaps he could do something similar to access the Kamui dimension. I don't know.

Another quick symbolism tidbit... the greater circumstances, threat, and power involved in this theoretical situation than the original Zabuza fight would show the amazing growth that Naruto and Sasuke underwent. A contrast between their first real mission and what could end up being their last. From the start of Naruto until the end of Shippuden.

Expecting TL;DR in comments. I tend to go on and on after taking adderall. If you managed to read the entire thing, or didn't and want to respond anyway, what do you think of this?

Dude you're so deep i can't even see you anymore

OT: Honestly I think it would be pretty gay, I mean it's kakashi's fault that Obito turned out like this so he should fix it.
I think what you wrote makes alot of sense and could happen but I personally wouldn't like it if Obito got gangbanged.
Also I think sasuke would go for madara instead of helping naruto fight obito.

He would still have a chance to fix it! If Kakashi were trapped in the other dimension for a reason other than being seriously injured, he could fight Obito after being freed by Sasuke!

Edit- Btw I had to read Lord of the Flies for English class this year. That may have inspired me to go deep and think of things symbolically.

He can come back from a shuriken throw, if Obito phases through the shuriken then Kakashi can hold on the the body part in the Kamui dimension so when Obito phases back Kakashi will come back with the body part he was holding on to. Thats putting into account that he has little chakra left that he cant use Kamui on himself to go back.

By that do you mean attack him, or join him? Sasuke attacking madara would be suicide.

Good Prediction, If Sasuke and Naruto takes on Obito, then perhaps other Kages will take on Madara. I liked the way you connected two missions/events.

I forgot about 5 current kages. maybe X-Hokages will split. Few will go Tsunade and others and remaining will take on Madara.

Well, last time we saw Tsunade she was ripped in half. Sooo.... not sure what's happening with that.

Nice prediction mate, only problem is Kamui dimension is not in Obitio's head like Kyuubi cage that was in Naruto's head\body.Besides Kakashi is not a kid that needs to be saved,I think Obito is Kakashi's mess to clean up not Naruto's or Sasuke's

These guys are right.
The tension between Kakashi and Obito has grown to be too large (especially in last chapter) for Kakashi not to be Obito's main (and possibly final) opponent. They just have to settle things between each other.

But yeah, still a nice theory.

I have posted this at Yahoo! Answers already but I would love to share it to everyone:

My predictions of Naruto's ending are these:

1. Naruto will be the reincarnation of the So6P (Sage of the 6 Paths).

2. To be able to defeat the Juubi, Naruto himself will be the Jinchūriki of the Ten Tails. It is made possible due to the fact that the other tailed beasts had already given their trusts to Naruto which include their personal names and a portion of each chakras..

3. The only way to completely defeat the Juubi is to re-separate it. The same way the So6P defeated it the first time. And this technique requires an enormously huge amount of chakra, and by which again is made possible by combining the chakras of the 1 tail - 9 tails in order to summon an incomplete Juubi and him being its Jinchūriki.

4. Sasuke and company will arrive at the battle field and help the alliance on their fight. Everyone will be shocked. Sasuke will deliver his famous and "ouch" phrase to Naruto [Need help? SCARDY CAT]

5. Sasuke will defeat Madara. Naruto will die after defeating the Juubi.

6. By the end of the war, Sasuke will be elected as the 6th Hokage. The first in history of Konoha to have an Uchiha rule the village. Why? The 1st Hokage in the name of Hashirama really wanted Madara to rule the village they had created. But due to the hatred and fear and insecurity of the air around the village, Hashirama was elected as the 1st.

Tip:
>>>>And because hatred and clan boundary are overwhelmed during and after the war, it is possible that the author will create a new world. A new world with a brand new name and law. A world that respects everyone's freedom, will, etc. etc. etc.
>>>>And that is when Naruto fulfills his role as the Child of the Prophecy. The savior of the world. The conqueror of hatred. The one who spreads LOVE beyond any boundary. The one with the best Ninjutso, the TALK NO JUTSO.
>>>>And the tailed beasts (ooopss!.tailed PETS) will become everyone's puppets. And will be treated as comrades and friends.

Minato's gift to Naruto will be a SEALING TECHNIQUE.

Minato will re-combine Kurama's yin/yang chakras using THE TECHNIQUE ( a reverse technique he used on separating the yin/yang of Kurama's chakra)

Naruto will learn and use THE TECHNIQUE and combine the chakras of the 1 tailed - 9 tailed beasts which he already has to summon another Juubi. (Bee will offer some/all of the 8-tailed chakra during this event and could cost Bee's life)

Naruto will use THE TECHNIQUE to seal the summoned Juubi and be its Jinchūriki.

Naruto will use THE TECHNIQUE to defeat the EVIL JUUBI by separating it into parts the same way the So6P did.

Naruto will use THE TECHNIQUE again to collect the separated chakras of the EVIL JUUBI and SEAL it unto himself. And on this process Naruto will be the reincarnation of the So6P and will eventually die.

Sasuke will be able to defeat and surpass Madara(jerk)

Sasuke will be elected as the 6th Hokage of Konoha. The first time in History an Uchiha rules the Village.

Some sorts of happySADcelebration ENDING of Naruto.

Bow!. XD
