Spamming Ninjutsu, future of Rock Lee

The longer the second half of Naruto proggresses there's almost nothing new used, but Ninjutsu. There's no more of that strategic approach to battles like the first half. And summoning jutsu haven't been used as much as they should have, it used to be an end to half of the battles. With Ninjutsu and the Ocular Kekkei-Genkai proceeding to DBZ level how is Rock Lee going to stand even close to other ninja? Do you think he should get some new OP Taijutsu skills besides 8 inner gates?

I think 8 gates is enough . It gives it super human abilities . Besides he will probably end up with asajaku and hiradora !

He kicked Madara in half, I think his taijutsu is working good enough. EiG is op, 6gates was able to handle multiple v2 jinjuuriki. 7 gates able to beat arguable the best Ninjutsu attack and defeat the 3rd strongest akatsuki member(ya I said it), not to mention 8th gate.

I see what you're saying... But as Guy said it's a Double Edged Sword, Lee could barely move after opening five in his fight with Gaara(because of damage to muscle), and left himself vulnurable... Although it's a huge feat to fight someone with ultimate defense, there's no need to kill yourself in the process.

Not in his Susanoo. And he is an Edo Tensei, he can allow himself to get hit, like he let Tsunade hit him in the kage battle.
I guess 8 gates is enough for Lee though... =D

Dude look at guy, he is much more powerful than your average ninja and he only use taijutsu. If you mean kage level ninja then no he will not be as strong as them but few ninja are. The rest of the konaha 11 wont compare to these ninja with DB level jutsu either.

He is already stronger than most of his peers; he is most likely improved in last 3 years; he will have his time soon in my opinion he had enough feats to be considered as a strong ninja...
