Nagato Deserved A Bigger Role In The End

Imagine a rinnegan Nagato vs Rinnegan Obito or Madara! Sh*t would have been sick.

But alas, all good characters only serve one purpose; talking to Naruto.

There is a reason why he died so badly...He is garbage and a utter failure, itachi called himself just a failure but nagato added the fact that he is garbage. He really wasn't that special

Itachi considered himself a failure and Nagato considered himself garbage. Big deal ha?
If it wasn't the case that in the current war, only Madara,Obito and Naruto are stronger than them.
I agree with this post. Edo-Itachi died doing something usefull and good, realeasing the edo-tensei and putting
some doubt into his emo brother' brain.
Nagato killed J-man...Oh man that was a shock and I iniitialy hated him for this. So his death by sacrificing his life for the lives of the villagers of Konoha(who he hated the most) was completely epic and made me admire him.
Edo-Nagato only did some TNJ to boost Naruto's power and feelings...At least we saw some of his true powers(He tanked Naruto/Bee and the Solo King for a good time...No small feat)
I think he could have played a rbetter role in the end...I don'tk know...maybe the rinnegan could "break" the edo-tensei or something.

I remember Kishi sama said he didn't want to make Nagato so OP.... Plus at the end of that interview he said that there is going to be a special fight in the end of the war....The opponents were a secret.... It's not Hashi vs Madara cause he had spoken about them in some other interview.... Maybe Nagato has something to do with this fight and might come back.... =D =D

He was referring to what he did when he was alive, He displayed his power by being the god of amagekure, leader of akatsuki, killing 1 legendary sannin and destroying the strongest village konoha.

well as you've mentioned itachi also admitted he is a failure, so itachi was not that special too.

Madara has no counter for chibaku tensei but i do think he would win high difficulty

It goes Hashirama > Madara > Nagato > Obito >>>> Itachi
