Gaara is on the same age as Naruto, but he's way smarter than Naruto. And you're right that Naruto is a lot goofy. =D I would love to see him becoming Chunin at the end of Part 2, and then a third part, where he's Jonin and has his own team, where at some point he becomes the Sixth Hokage, this will be just awesome.

1. If Naruto Dies, I would not be surprised for sure, but I would probably continue to watch the series just to see how the Alliance beats the opposition and how the Villages react to the death of Naruto.

2. If Sasuke dies, the series probably would get kind of boring, of course Naruto would most likely go into rage mode and spazzz out on whoever or whatever killed Sasuke and that might be interesting for a few chapters but, after that I would continue to watch with limited attention and probably just focus on what would happen down the road, like Konohamaru's future of probably betraying the Village hmm

It wouldn't really matter too much to me. I mean the manga is coming to an end in a couple of months anyway...

If Naruto or Sasuke died then that's that. It would be like watching a movie where the main character dies at the end. I'm sure Kishi would have some reasonable cause(s) of death. The possibility of Naruto and Sasuke dying together in their final battle has already been hinted at (in the small skirmish after Sasuke killed Danzo and then faced off with Naruto)...I wouldn't be surprised if it actually happened.

It would be different if Naruto or Sasuke died in the middle of the manga production; however, there are probably less than 50 chapters of Naruto left.

I don't see Naruto dying, I wouldn't like that scenario.
