I really don't see the difference between the two swords. I really don't. They are both legendary swords, so I really don't see the difference.

Don't try say one's ethereal and the other isn't because that's not a good reason.

THESE are swords of lengend, of power. What they are made up of should not make a difference.

This pulls up another question. If the Totsuka was set against the Yata Mirror...What would happen? Would it simply deflect off? Or better Yet, if Kusanagi was set against the Yata Mirror, the sword that is said to pierce anything. Would it pierce the shield that is said to defend against anything?

Please don't come at me with the argument that what the weapons are made up is the deciding factor. Because it really shouldn't. Hell, we don't even know what the Kusanagi is made up of. For all we know it could be made up of adamantine.

and I'm a huge Itachi fan but even I know that this Totsuka/Yata solos narutoverse no diff because databook says so logic is flawed

It wont work simply because Bijuu Chakra is the utterly strongest Chakra, since Yin-Yang isn't even Chakra.

Totsuka can pierce Bijuu, they're just Meat and Brawn made out of evil Chakra that's extremely powerful.

Totsuka is a spiritual weapon - together with Mirror Yata - that would seal anything if stabbed through into a 'genjutsu world of Drunken Dreams and seals them away for all times.' The blade itself is imbued with a sealing jutsu. Bijuu's are capable of being harmed with Physical attacks as well. I don't see the point of this thread.

If Totsuka pierces any Bijuu, it should be sealed off easily.
