Anyone here watch/read....

I get that a lot of you watch/read the Shounen genre and really enjoy it but my question here is, aside from the action genres do you watch any other genre?

Here are some sample anime/manga genres:

Romance
Comedy
Harem
Echhi
Slice of Life
Fantasy
Horror
Supernatural

Please keep in mind a lot of these often mix and match. I for one am a fan of the Romance/Comedy anime or manga (the good ones that is)

So what genres do you read/watch? and what are some of your favorite anime or manga belonging to those genres?

I like horror, romance, Slice of Life, seinen, super natural and shounen. Shounen used to be my fav genre but not anymore, there are far better genres to watch & read out there and more "realistic"

So you're not a fan of "slower" paced things then?

Yea, I'm a fan of Shounen but a lot of my favorite animes fall outside of the genre xD

Higurashi, Darker than black, and Titan are the only ones I've watched from your list =D

I watch romance and comedy after a serious action anime to relieve the 'seriousness'. Lol I dunno I just love watching fluffy romance and action..totally !

Lol same here =P but i cant watch straight up romance, it has to be mixed with some comedy. Have you watched Hentai Ouji to Warawanai Neko?

Heha But you should watch Steins;Gate. I don't really know which category it goes under, but it's seriously brilliant. It's one of the most highly regarded animes there are

Start it! =D But try watching Hakuoki Shinsengumi Kitan as well. It's a samurai anime, but it's more about their brotherhood and the girl that they give refuge to. It has very good action as well, and the animation is just gorgeous. Even on streams. And it has a great opening as well. All this is of course just my opinion though.
